Skirt and blouse Zara, heels Heels.com, ring (street buy
Madrid), bandeau Springfield, clutch (gift, old)
As my days fly by, I manage to squeeze in a little time for
another new post. I am already in Malaga but the pictures in this post were taken on the rooftop of our hotel in Madrid and in the hotel lobby. This is an absolutely amazing hotel called Vincci Via 61, in the city centre. The staff is amazing and it is just beautifully decorated. I have an issue with public bathrooms and tubs, but this hotel is so clean and just modern enough that you feel like you are in a spa. When we visited Madrid five years ago, we stayed in this same hotel.
Back to the oufit :). This was an outfit I wore to a business diner couple of nights ago. A bright
Mediterranean blue skirt from Zara. When I bought it,
it was an awkward length on me, neither mid/below knee nor a mini. I already
have a blue pencil skirt so I chose to make it into a mini. I love the pleats
on the hip area as it gives illusion of smaller waist and curvier hips. I kept
it very minimal with Zara shirt you have seen me wear before (here), strappy
sandals, minimal jewelry and minimal make up. Who wants to wear heavy makeup in the heat anyway. Sometimes simple can have a strong impact too.
Agree? I welcome your comments, good and bad. I am off to explore the beautiful city of Malaga and all its charms. Que tengan un maravilloso weekend! Ciao!
