Hiking in the Niagara Escarpment in a Sporty Outfit

Sports bra Under Arour, leggings TNA (Aritzia), sneakers Nike (old), shirt H&M, backpack David Jones Paris (similar backpack ), sunglasses Ray-Ban, watch Michael Kors Today I’m doing a post quite different from anything I posted before. I did not initially plan to do it. I had brought the camera to take pictures of the nature, but we ended up taking a few outfit pictures as well. I love the city and everything the city brings, but just the same, I love the nature as well. I find it’s important to have a balance between the two. I believe everyone would benefit mentally and physically if they spent some time in nature at least couple of times a month. After all, we are part of it, aren’t we? One of the things I love doing is hiking. I remember fondly of all the times I went hiking with my grandpa in the mountains and hills of Serbia when I was a kid. It’s unbelievable how much nature can relax all your senses. Even if you have little ones, it’s a fun thing to do for a...

Summer Outfits in Review

As fall (rather quickly) sneaks in, I wanted to take one more look at this summer's outfits and share with you (again) some of my favourites. As I was going through them, it was easy to tell that it was a much cooler summer compared to the last one. Granted, I may have worn a lot of pants this year, I still kept the colours bright in honour of the summer (and just because I love colour). Which one is your favourite? Ciao! Cao! Aleksandra <3 Follow me via Bloglovin, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or Google

Three Summer Trends: Florals, Print Mixing and Sporty

Dress and shirt H&M, hat unknown (Winners), bag Balenciaga, sneakers Nike, bracelets unknown (random street buys) I don't believe in strictly following trends when it comes to fashion, or anything else to be honest. I do like when new or recycled trends are introduced, as they expose you to new ideas and inspirations. You should still pick and chose only those that work well for you, whether it comes to colours, shapes and styles. If you can pull them all off, more power to you. Whatever it is that you are wearing, it should be just that, you wearing it, and not the other way around. Only then can you look confident, pretty, fun, quirky, or anything else that you are going for. Today, I decided to mix three summer trends that I love very much: ,floral, sporty and print mixing. I love these jersey summer dresses from H&M. They are cool (as in the temperature), comfortable and inexpensive. I love wearing them to run errands on the weekends, to the beach or lounging aro...

Peter Pilotto Graphic Sweatshirt

Sweatshirt Peter Pilotto for Target, button up shirt (underneath) H&M, shorts Guess (DIY), bag Steve Madden, sneakers Nike, bracelets Alex&Ani, sunglasses unknown As I mentioned yesterday, Friday night we headed to Mont Tremblant. Nothing better then waking up on a mountain (smaller mountain but still gorgeous), looking out the window and seeing nothing but trees, flowers and sunshine. And then stepping onto a balcony and enjoying a breakfast outside along the morning song of the birds, overlooking a beautiful pool. After breakfast we headed out to the village of Mont Tremblant and also visited its peak. What a gorgeous view from up there. We enjoyed it for some time while sitting on a patio and sipping on a cold glass of beer. We then lounged around the beach, did a little hiking and so on. It was a gorgeous sunny day but from time to time there was a light breeze. I wore that day my H&M dress shirt you saw me wearing on the Tuesday post and I topped it with t...

Sightseeing Montreal In Hot Pink Sneakers & Ripped Jeans

Jeans & jacket Zara, sneakers Nike, shirt H&M, bag Steve Madden, sunglasses unknown, belt Danier (men's section), chain ring Forever 21, midi ring H&M, forefinger gold rings gifts    Day one in Montreal was the cocktail party and then walking the streets of old Montreal at night and testing out different patios and bars. Day two in Montreal, was again walking the beautiful streets of old Montreal and testing out patios, but now in daylight, hehehe. Oh and lets not forget, blog picture taking. I forget how beautiful this city is and am reminded every time I come back. Then, I wonder why I don't come back more often. It is gorgeous, vibrant and people are extremely warm. It has such a European flare, which I often miss, and this is a quick way for me to get that fix once in a while, without having to fly over an ocean. These pictures were snapped around St Denis street as well as around Catherdral Notre-Dame Basilica of MontrĂ©al. I was comfortable in my...
