Making A Statement

Jeans Fornarina, blazer Zara, ankle boots Aldo, tshirt unknown, clutch Indigo, necklace unknown Ebay, watch Michael Kors, chain ring H&M, blue/gold ring Ebay Good morning lovelies! It is Thursday and this is my last post for the week. I chose to leave this outfit as the last one for the week as it can work very well for going out. It's pretty simple: blazer, t-shirt and jeans, but instead of going with skinny or boot cut jeans, I chose my Fornarina slouchy ones. As I cannot wear pumps in this cold, these amazing Aldo ankle boots work perfectly. They elongate my leg due to the zipper detailing in front. Now for the necklace, I chose this colourful Ebay treasure. I am addicted to Ebay. I love finding a deal and I can browse for hours. I actually have to control myself when I do. I also get really excited finding unexpected items at unexpected places. Do I need to explain how excited I was when I found this gorgeous scarlet red clutch in Indigo/Chapters? People go to buy bo

You Only Miss The Sun When It Starts To Snow

Jacket Esprit, sweater H&M, jeans Urban Behavior (old), boots Aldo, scarf & hat unknown, necklace Ebay, bag Louis Vuitton, rings Forever 21 & Ebay, gloves Aldo (last year) When winter white was presented on all the runways last spring, as the trend to look for in F/W 2013, were you excited? I certainly was. That is until the winter really came, along with the cold, as well as its dirty and wet streets. Only then do you start to realize white can be pretty hard to pull off. Few years ago I bought a gorgeous white coat but after the first winter I got rid of it because white gets dirty very easily, especially in the winter. It felt like I had to dry clean it every 2 weeks to keep it crisp white. And that can get pretty costly. I swore never to buy one again. Then I came across this beautiful warm jacket on sale at Esprit for $60 and had to buy it. Jackets are easier to care for. You can just throw it into a washer and you're done. So today, I am showing off my vers

Keeping It Short

Sweater H&M, shorts Vanilla Star (Winners), heels Aldo , necklace unknown Ebay, bag Louis Vuitton, watch Michael Kors, necklace (worn as bracelet) Juicy Couture, off-white bracelet Joseph Nogucci , silver ring Aldo (old) As the title indicates, I'm keeping it short today, both my outfit and my post. I have a busy day ahead but did not want to miss posting another outfit. Just like yesterday, I opted for shorts, this time however they are denim. I guess I just can't wait till the summer to wear them again. These shorts I especially love due to the sequence detailing on the sides. I usually keep the other clothing pieces simple and more classic so that the look does not look too young. Do you wear shorts in the winter? Ciao!

Leather Shorts

Shorts Forever 21, boots Ebay, sweater H&M, blazer Zara, bag & necklace unknown Ebay, scarf Aldo, beanie Urban Planet Hello ladies! Have I complained enough about the cold weather we have been having? Probably :). Not that I don't like winter. I love snow, I love skiing, skating and all of the winter sports. But how is one supposed to show off an outfit on -20? A big problem to have hahahah. This week few of the outfits have been shot in my old university building. I was visiting my family outside of Toronto and the only closed location that I could think off with enough natural light was one of the university buildings. It was also a walk down a memory lane for a bit. A lot of time has been spent hanging around these hallways. Now back to today's outfit. I love wearing shorts even in the winter so today I paired my PVC leather shorts with warm black tights, sweater and a blazer. With a warm coat I can comfortably be outside in this outfit (for about 10-15 mi

Layered

Jeans Fornarina, t-shirt Tristan, boots Aldo, chambray shirt H&M, sweater Forever 21, watch Swatch, bracelets unknown, bag Robert Dice (Winners) Hello lovelies. Today is a double treat day. I am posting a new outfit and will also have a little giveaway where everyone will be a winner, but you will have to read on to find out more about it. With today's outfit I had fun layering. I find that a sweater over a T-shirt is not warm enough for me these days, now that the polar cold is back. So to keep me warm, I wore a chambray shirt as an extra layer. It also creates a visually more interesting look. As I said before, you have to make sure that the layers are not too bulky otherwise you will look as if you just piled on clothes without thinking it through. Layering is not always the easiest task for me because I am top heavy but choosing the right T-shirt, tailored shirt and sweater allows even me to layer. Even though the jeans I chose for today are loose and low hangi
