Dress H&M, feather vest Ebay, hat H&M, socks Ardene, boots Choies, bag H&S Handbags I am loving the many printed dresses that H&M has brought to us this fall. This is one of the few that I purchased in the last few months and I can’t seem to get enough of them. This one I wore already several times. A perfect piece to wear to work under a blazer, on its own to a party (or a wedding like I did) or just out and about. For a casual day top it off with a faux (or real) fur vest, warm boots and a wide brim hat for a bit of 70s flare. I could not be happier with this outfit. If you can't find over the knee boots to your liking, try wearing over the knee socks with your knee high boots as an alternative. It also makes you look like a pro at layering. Your thoughts? Ciao! Skirt Choies, top Bershka, heels Zara, belt vintage, bracelet Alex&Ani As I mentioned couple of days ago, I am posting another outfit to show you how I interpret outfits that inspire me. I kept this one very close to the original from Style Pantry blog, though I used a different style of skirt. I would love to have this gorgeous yellow number but one cannot (or should not) have everything. Where it the fun in that? I loved the combination of colours in this outfit and sure enough had similar ones in my closet. I wore instead a midi full skirt but stayed true to the colours that first caught my eye. I would also love to have this gorgeous hair...but some things are just impossible.  Let me know if you like these types of posts and I will try to do them more often.  And as you are reading these lines, I am somewhere on the beach in Mexico, enjoying the sun and the ocean. Dress Choies, sweater unknown, ankle boots Aldo, bag Louis Vuitton, necklace Ebay, ring Forever 21 Today I have a family celebration that will keep me quite busy the rest of the day, but I wanted to sneak in and post another outfit anyway. You have already seen this dress before on the blog ( here and here ) but I pulled it out again over the weekend, for a casual Saturday afternoon. I was going to go for a walk around town and stop for a lunch. But before we went, we snapped these pictures. It was very humid out, hence my hair. Well, even though it didn't take us long to shoot, as we finished it started pouring, and that was it for our walk. Luckily I carry leather booties in my car in the spring, for just this occasion. So I switched my suede booties for leather ones, and off I went. I managed at least to sneak in a late lunch but not the walk, unfortunately. I love walks and even more walks around town, where you get to people watch and enjoy the energy of the city. Ciao...

Skirt Forever 21, sweater and tights H&M, boots Choies, scarf and jacket Zara, bag H&S Handbags Let me kick off this week with a skirt! Yes, it snowed again in Toronto but the weather was actually nice and mild enough, so I could sneak in this outfit. I had a birthday lunch for my friend and chose to wear this. Extra knee high socks kept me warm. The only issue was keeping this skirt down when the gusts of wind tried to blow it up. I almost had a Marilyn Monroe moment a few times today. Sure enough, I would not wear this to walk around the streets in the winter, but it was warm enough to go from car to the restaurant and then later for some shopping. It's March after all, and maybe if I start dressing more lightly, the spring gods will finally give us a hint of the warmer days to come :). Ciao! We're starting off this week with a sunny beautiful morning and a fun bright outfit to go with it. Today I'm wearing my fun and gorgeous neon midi skirt from Choies I acquired this past summer. In a sea or dark and muted colours of the winter, how fun is it to wear a skirt this bright? The only downfall of it was shooting these pictures. With the whiteness of the snow and the brightness of the skirt, focusing the camera was somewhat of a task but the pictures came out great. How would you style this skirt for the winter? Ciao!
