Today was
one hectic day for me. I am preparing for an unexpected trip to Spain (I am sacrificing
myself to go with my husband on his work trip J) and there are too many things to finish
before I go. And the fact that it rained almost the whole day doesn’t make
running these errands any easier. I also finally decided to get back into a
healthier lifestyle and signed up for an outdoor boot camp 2/week for 8 weeks.
I got a great deal for $29 on Living Social website. I think this is the best way
to try out something you haven’t done before. Some people have said to me that
it’s not fair to only go to these classes because of the low price, because we
are just abusing the deal. Well I think quite the opposite. If it were not for
this type of a deal I would never had tried yoga. And now that I have, I love
it…I just have to get my butt off the couch and sign up for a class. It’s just
a hard time finding a good one in my area. So a friend of mine and I signed up
for this boot camp class and today was the second day. Despite our deep desire to
make it to every one of those classes, we both decided to ditch it due to our
other obligations. Let me tell you, we both felt relieved when it started
raining again. We felt like we had a really good excuse now.
One of
those errands I mentioned above was taking pictures for this post. I have
several other outfits already ready, but for some reason they did not feel
right for today. I’m sure you can tell by now that my favorite piece of
clothing are jeans. I have about 20 pairs. I know, because my mom points that
out every time she comes to visit. I also know how many shoes I have because of
her J.
This is again a more casual outfit. I got these jeans in Zara last year when I
was in New York for my sister’s birthday with a group of girlfriends. They are
not exactly the boyfriend jean style. They are a combination of that and harem
pants style. A style of which I am a huge fan. I remember the look on my sister’s
and my friends’ faces when I showed them the jeans… it was not a positive one J. They did admit later that they
liked them once the outfit was put together. I paired them here with one of my
favourite pumps that I got in boutique WM as my friend and I call it (Walmart
J)
for only $25. I have been wearing them for about year and half now. And I wear
them a lot, yet they continue to survive. A cute little tshirt from WM as well
and a military inspired jacket from Marshalls. The whole outfit (excluding the
clutch) was $100. You can also wear these jeans with cute little flats instead of
heels, they will look just as great. Hope you like it! Ciao!

PS. Remember that promise I made in my very first post, that I will keep my future posts brief? Well, it looks like I just broke that promise today. Ooops!
