Blazer In The Blizzard

Yesterday was a crazy day weather wise here in Toronto. We got covered with the snow. I always found it so weird when I first moved to Canada that people talked about the weather so much, every day. That is until I realized how much of an impact it has on our daily life: traffic, wardrobe and so much more. The extremes we live in Canada make it one of the top topics to talk about. You can tell that I have jumped on this wagon as well, considering my daily weather updates I post on this blog, hehehe. Luckily I shot this outfit couple of days earlier so I have one last post for you this week. Topic of layering is very big on my blog and today I am doing so with a T-shirt, sweater and a blazer. I have a hard time sometime layering pieces due to my arms as well. I have pretty fit arms and sometimes I can't even get a jacket with fitted sleeves over them. I am sure I am not the only one experiencing this problem. The trick is to find jackets or blazers that have fitted sleeves but that are not too tight. When I am in search of one I make sure to try it out in a store with a thicker layer underneath. I do also have some blazers that allow me only to wear thin T-shirts under them, so those ones are usually kept for warmer weather. This gorgeous blazer is from Zara and I also have it in black. Zara definitely has some great blazers that are fitted enough but not too tight. Also the length is just perfect for us short or busty girls, because it elongates the top part of the body and does not leave it looking boxy. With that, I leave you and wish you a happy weekend! Juce je bilo ludo vreme u Torontu. Grad je zavejan snegom. Prelepo za oko, ali uzasno za voznju. Kada sam se tek doselila u Kanadu, bilo mi je jako cudno sto ljudi svaki dan samo pricaju o vremenu. To jeste, dok nisam ukapirala koliko ustvari utice na nasu svakodnevnicu, sto zbog guzvi na putevima, sto zbog nacina odevanja. Ocigledno je da sam se i ja prilagodila, s obzirom na moje svakodnevne vremenske izvestaje na ovom blogu, hehehe. Na srecu ovaj outfit sam uslikala pre par dana. Slojevito oblacenje, kao sto vec znate, je jedna od mojih omiljenih tema. Danas sam uparila majicu, dzemper i sako. Po nekad zbog debljine mojih ruku ne mogu ni da pomislim da obucem dzemper ili nesto deblje ispod jakne ili sakoa. Znam da nisam jedina sa ovim problemcicem. Privlace me iskljucivo jaknice uzih rukava jer daju iluziju tanjih i duzih ruku, pogotovo za nekoga moje visine. Zara je jedno od mesta gde imate zaista puno izbora. Sakoi uglavnom imaju uze rukave i strukirani su, ali ipak ostavljaju dovoljno mesta da mozete obuci i neki duks ili dzemper ispod njih. Ovaj sako je takodje iz Zare a imam ga i u crnoj boji. A i duzina je odlicna za nas niske devojke, ili devojke vecih grudi, jer izduzava i istanjuje vizuelno gornji deo tela. I s tim vam ostavljam i zelim vam prelep vikend. Cao!

The Very First Outfit Post

        I took a few outfit pictures over the last few days, as I was running around my day and I wasn’t sure what would be the first one to post. Sightseeing Montreal In Hot Pink Sneakers & Ripped Jeans

Day two in Montreal, was again walking the beautiful streets of old Montreal and testing out patios, but now in daylight, hehehe. Oh and lets not forget, blog picture taking. I forget how beautiful this city is and am reminded every time I come back. Then, I wonder why I don't come back more often. It is gorgeous, vibrant and people are extremely warm. It has such a European flare, which I often miss, and this is a quick way for me to get that fix once in a while, without having to fly over an ocean. Are You Blushing Yet?

Pink is very big this season and in particular blush or pastel pink. My first reaction was rather negative to this trend until I realized how many items I have in my wardrobe that are of that colour.
