Military Style pants, Louboutins & Stripes: Fall Outfit

Pants Zara, shirt Ardene, shoes Christian Louboutin, head scarf H&M, wrist scarf Forever 21, watch Michael Kors, earrings H&M, sunglasses Ray-Ban I have shot this outfit almost a month ago, but I only get to share it with you now. I wanted to share first all of the really summery looks first, while they were still applicable. These amazing pants are from Zara. They are a recent purchase and you may still be able to buy find them in a store. I love the mustard yellow / brownish colour with red stripes on the side. They have a military feel to them (if you ask my friend though, she will say I look like a jockey hahaha). Because I paired them with a colourful striped top, I opted to wear simple nude pumps. These are Louboutins but there are so many affordable options out there now. Red is a common element of this look and brings it all together. Red soles, red piping on the shirt, red stripes on the hand scarf and red stripes on the pants. Oh, as if that wasn’t enou...

Striped Maxi Skirt & Toronto Skyline

Skirt Gracia , sneakers Forever 21, top Forever 21, bag unknown Winners I’m back after another (really unexplainable) absence. I have had a lot of time and gorgeous weather to shoot outfits. I also have couple of more posts to share with you from my road trip. So it's not for the lack of material that I have been MIA but for some reason, I have been neglecting you my blogosphere family. I’m therefore sharing this outfit today and will follow up with one more post this week, just to make up for the lost time. I don’t think much is needed to be said about this outfit. It’s all about this gorgeous skirt I bought while visiting Charleston, South Carolina. I was actually riding a bike when I saw the skirt in the store window, and made a complete unannounced stop, almost causing few other people to crash right into me. It would have been worth it right? How amazing is this maxi skirt? How beautiful and rich are the colours? I got a lot of compliments on it and did some res...

Road Trip: New Orleans & Vacation Outfit #2

Shorts Levi's, sneakers Forever 21 (similar sneakers H&M ), top unknown (purchased in Mexico), bag unknown (inspired by Chloe), sunglasses Ray-Ban I’m back with more pictures and a (half) new outfit from my road trip first stop in New Orleans. There will be one more after this one and then I will move onto new locations, heehhe. New Orleans is just so picturesque and photogenic that I couldn’t get myself to stop snapping pictures. I opted to carry only my IPhone as it would be too cumbersome to carry my large Canon. I was more dedicated to my enjoying the vacation then the blog, I know. But who can blame me, right? On our visit to New Orleans, I could not skip a trip to the swamp to check out some gators. I was really looking forward to riding on the airboat and seeing the alligators up close in their natural habitat. You will pardon my messy hair in the photos. There is only so much you can do when the wind is involved, hehehe. I absolutely enjoyed the nature....

How to Stay Warm in the Tricky Spring Weather

Jeans Zara, boots Forever 21, blouse Forever 21, jacket Mango (old), scarf Aldo, sunnies Ray-Ban, bag Louis Vuitton (with my own chain strap), gloves H&M As the sun is out again and the weather doesn't require thick layers of clothing, I get to get out more out and about the city. The spring is the time when I walk the most, sometimes for hours. It also helps with the few winter pounds heheh. Though long walks require comfort, I still like to wear a cute little outfit. You may think how are heeled boots comfortable, but to be honest, I get more easily tired walking in flats then in heels. Granted, for these long walks I opt for a more chunky heel and a shoe with a strong foot support, rather then a thin stiletto heel.  I recently purchased these Forever 21 booties and decided they were going to be the piece around which the outfit is built. With me, the outfit builders are usually the shoes haha. And though it was a nice spring day, layers were still a must. I layere...
