Overalls Zara (similar Asos , Topshop , Ebay  & Current/Elliott ), heels Steve Madden, cropped top Stradivarius, watch Swatch, bracelet Tiffany & Co, bag/backpack  David Jones Paris (Winners) Overalls are one of those fashion items that you either love or hate. For me, it’s a love thing of course. I own a pair of denim ones which you have seen me wear time and time again. These leather (like) ones are more structured and fitted then the denim pair. Black is even easier to dress up but today, I went for a semi casual look. Couple of days ago I took advantage of the last hot day to wear the cropped top.  What are your thoughts on overalls or dungarees? Ciao! As fall (rather quickly) sneaks in, I wanted to take one more look at this summer's outfits and share with you (again) some of my favourites. As I was going through them, it was easy to tell that it was a much cooler summer compared to the last one. Granted, I may have worn a lot of pants this year, I still kept the colours bright in honour of the summer (and just because I love colour). Which one is your favourite? Ciao! Though the plan for the trip was to relax as much as possible and spend every day at the beach, I could not visit Cancun without visiting the gorgeous archeological sight Chichen Itza some couple of hours away from Cancun. It was the most important capital city of the Maya and still is the sacred center for them. I read and learned a lot about the Maya and Chichen Itza in University while learning Spanish, and could not miss the opportunity to see it with my own eyes. It is absolutely gorgeous and must be visited. You will learn some extremely interesting facts about this intriguing culture. We did not go with the prepackaged tourist groups. Overalls Stradivarius, top Zara, heels Steve Edelman, bag H&S Handbags, rings Aldo I almost made it through the week without one outfit in jeans. Well....that just would not be me. Jeans are my most favourite item of clothing, and therefore deserve a regular feature on this blog. I figured it has been a while since I wore these overalls, so I decided to pull them out of my closet again. They are soft, comfortable, cool and just perfect. I wore a cropped top underneath, as you can see. This is a good way to wear a cropped top but still hide your belly, if you are not comfortable exposing it completely. Cropped tops and high waist skirts or pants are a no brainer and easy to pull off, even if you don't have the flattest belly. Pulling them off with jeans however and being comfortable, it doesn't come as easy to everyone. And also, it may not be your style to expose that much skin. The overalls cover the belly and some of the back, but show just enough skin on the sides...

Blazer & pants Zara, top Stradivarius, clutch Liz Watier, ring Call it Spring    This past weekend was a busy one for me. I had a friend's wedding in Ottawa so we headed that way (4.5 hour drive, ugh) on Saturday. It was a more casual affaire so I opted to wear a suit instead of a dress. Well actually, it's not a suit but it looks like one. I bought these pants in Zara last summer and this blazer, also in Zara this spring. It's just interesting that they are the same colour. Perfect for me. Now I have a statement suit in a bright orange colour. I wanted to keep everything else very simple and clean, including my makeup. The suit was enough of a statement on its own and I didn't want anything to compete with it. I opted however to wear a cropped top because the pants are very high waisted.
