Even though we have had some wonderful September weather, you can definitely already feel the crispness in the air. I have already started shopping (a little too much) for some fall items. Some of the items I have already started to show on my Instagram account, make sure to follow. In the meantime, I continue to sneak in shorts any chance I get. I don’t know why, but I love shorts in the summer. Even more then skirts. Well once it starts getting little cooler outside, the easy way to transition your shorts into the cooler weather is to throw on a blazer with it. Nothing better then waking up on a mountain (smaller mountain but still gorgeous), looking out the window and seeing nothing but trees, flowers and sunshine. And then stepping onto a balcony and enjoying a breakfast outside along the morning song of the birds, overlooking a beautiful pool. After breakfast we headed out to the village of Mont Tremblant and also visited its peak. What a gorgeous view from up there. We enjoyed it for some time while sitting on a patio and sipping on a cold glass of beer. We then lounged around the beach, did a little hiking and so on. I said I would try, but this outfit kind of came about unplanned. I went out for breakfast and coffee to one of our favourite places near our house. We had planned to eat and then take our dog out for a walk in Greektown. I didn't even have any makeup on. But the streets seemed very deserted (partly because it was early in the morning, partly because it was a crisp morning), so we decided to shoot a few pictures. Oh no. I could not wait to wear and show off this gorgeous Peter Pilotto for Target blouse. I am not one of those people that will wait in lines for tickets, deals, etc, but I loved Peter Pilotto for Target line so much that I had to do it. And you know how cold this winter has been in Canada so you can understand that this was a big sacrifice for me. Unfortunately I only got to find 3 items in my size, but I was still happy. This top I first saw online and did not think to buy. I did not think the style would fit me due to the bigger chest size and shorter torso. But the tailoring around the neckline and mix of prints makes the fit just perfect. And boy! does it allow for a lot of print mixing, but also it makes any plain outfit just pop. ...
