Cropped Top & High Waist Jeans on a First Day of Spring

Jeans Iris Denim , shirt Joe Fresh, cropped top Forever 21, jacket Zara, handbag Chanel, sunglasses Zumel Weather has been playing some weird game with us here in Canada. February felt like a late spring, with warm temperatures in the high teens and beautiful sunny days. Then came March, and as spring month does normally (please read with high sarcasm), brought snow and freezing temperatures. This not only plays with your mood, but more importantly, messes up your blog post scheduling hehhehe. I shot this outfit quite a few weeks ago, back in February. And since I had another outfit to share before this one, I waited a little. But by the time its turn came, weather got really cold and I no longer felt it appropriate to share a crop top, belly baring, leather jacket outfit. But sun is out again, and though not as warm just yet, the outfit may be relevant now. Oh and it's first day of spring, so why not! If you follow me on Instagram, you will notice that last few we...

When A Life Throws You a Curveball (Fight it off with a Metallic Biker Jacket)

Jacket Forever 21, jeans Joe Fresh, lilac stilettos Heels, cashmere sweater Lord&Taylor from TheBay, cross-body bag Rebecca Minkoff This post was to start completely differently. While I was writing it I received some bad news about one of my best friend’s mom. It automatically made what I was about to write completely meaningless in relation to the life as a whole. Fashion and clothing are considered to be shallow. They have no deep meaning.  From time to time I get comments about wasting my time with fashion and my blog. So I chose not to post anything today. But as I contemplate about life (your 30s seem to be the time for that), I realize life is what you make of it. Life is about being happy and doing what makes you happy, so that you can make those around you happy. If you don’t fuel yourself, you can’t fuel those around you. Energy is transferrable and I chose that my energy be a positive one. I know that fashion, this blog, talking to people, inspiring and ...

Color Block Maxi Coat

Coat Sheinside , pumps Privileged ( Heels ), backpack David Jones (Winners), earrings JLO (old), sunglasses Aldo, turtleneck (H&M), jeans Joe Fresh As promised yesterday on my Instagran account, a new outfit post is here. I have been taking it easy this holiday season, so this new post is a little over due. Actually, if you walked into my house now, you would still think it’s Christmas. My tree is still up. Well, I have a few reasons for it. First, Orthodox Christamas and New Year which I celebrate are on the 7 th and 14 th of January, so I have a good reason to keep the tree up longer. But also, I just love the warmth it gives to the home, so I choose to keep it longer for that reason too. I am not however going to mention that I hate undoing the tree and storing away decorations, cause you may think I am lazy. God forbid! J I have been wanting to show you this coat for quite some time. Of course, it’s an imitation of a designer coat, but my version is waaaay cheaper...

Fall at The Beach

Pants Joe Fresh , cape Steve Madden (Winners), hat unknown, bag Louis Vuitton, ankle boots Express Hello my dears. This was not meant to me a blog post. It was just a random fun fall day with a friend exploring the Beaches area of Toronto. I usually visit the Beaches in the summer, but I hadn’t realized how beautiful it is in the fall as well. It was nice and mild out. We had no intention of shooting outfit pictures. This isn’t the most photogenic outfit either. You know how sometimes you wear a great outfit and in the mirror you look amazing. You get lots of compliments on how you look. Then you look at yourself in pictures, and somehow, it does not look as great as it does in person. Well this is one of those. The cape is quite large but its beauty comes from its movement. Also, what is not visible in the pictures, my pants/leggings are faux leather ( Joe Fresh and on sale now!) and in contrast to the cape as well as faux suede booties, the look is quite...

Monochrome Look Doesn't Have to Be Boring

Sneakers All Star, jacket Zara old (similar leather jacket  or budget friendly ), sweater Express, scarf Joe Fresh , sunglasses Aldo, jeans old unknown (similar  gray jeans ), cross body bag (unknown) It has been about two weeks since my last post. I had full intention on sharing today’s outfit with you last weekend, but my weekend had a sad twist to it. My dog of 10 years passed away last Saturday and I have not been myself since. I’m getting better from day to day. Slowly. Finding the norm without him in my life. I will be putting up a post about him in a few days. I know that this blog is about fashion mostly, but here and there I also share with you some of my opinions, experiences and personal stories. And he was at centre stage of my personal life story. When these pictures were taken, he was still with us; in fact, he was making this shoot difficult as he kept getting into every shot heheheh. I won’t talk much about him here. This post will be just about th...
