It has been about two weeks since my last post. I had full intention on sharing today’s outfit with you last weekend, but my weekend had a sad twist to it. My dog of 10 years passed away last Saturday and I have not been myself since. I’m getting better from day to day. Slowly. Finding the norm without him in my life. I will be putting up a post about him in a few days. I know that this blog is about fashion mostly, but here and there I also share with you some of my opinions, experiences and personal stories. And he was at centre stage of my personal life story.

When these pictures were taken, he was still with us; in fact, he was making this shoot difficult as he kept getting into every shot heheheh. I won’t talk much about him here. This post will be just about this fall outfit. Well….from now on anyway.

I don’t do too many monochromatic outfits, as I love colour, but I love different textures of this look. Textures and different shades keep the look interesting. I love the little sparkle of the sweater next to the leather of the jacket. And as sneakers are still very "IN", you can still feel fashionable even in a casual outfit. This is an easy but chick outfit for a casual day or a dog walk. All of the items worn today are at least a year old, so I am sure most of you will have something similar in your closet to pull a similar outfit. It just goes to show that you don't have to buy everything new in order to pull a modern and an on trend look, right? These pictures were taken while some leafs were still on the trees so the colours of the fall just perfectly compliment this look. As fall this year has been very mild, you can still very easily pull this look, even though it’s still November and even though you may be living in Canada. I could not be happier about it. You?

The Very First Outfit Post

I took a few outfit pictures over the last few days, as I was running around my day and I wasn’t sure what would be the first one to post. I debated and as the days went by and weather changed (it seems every day it was a different season), I decided to go with the very first one I shot.
