Vintage Midi Skirt & Brian Atwood

Shoes Brain Atwood, skirt vintage, turtleneck H&M, jacket Zara, fur stole vintage, bag Ebay, fur bag accessory Winners I am a vintage shopping junkie. I love searching for hidden treasures, designer or not. I love looking for great deals. It’s the thrill of the hunt, the uncertainty whether or not you will find something, that keeps me going. I have found some absolutely amazing pieces for a fraction of the price, which are now some of my favourite pieces I own. The fashion recycles, and I love finding a vintage piece that is still very relevant today. A classic you may call it. One of my favourite vintage finds is this skirt I bought not too long ago. I love everything about it: the fit, the colour, the length, the print, the slit in the front…just everything. The material is beautiful wool lined underneath, so as not to be prickly to the skin.  It’s such a classic piece but with a pair of funky stilettos or cool sneakers, and a leather jacket, it is as modern as can be...

Summer Outfits in Review

As fall (rather quickly) sneaks in, I wanted to take one more look at this summer's outfits and share with you (again) some of my favourites. As I was going through them, it was easy to tell that it was a much cooler summer compared to the last one. Granted, I may have worn a lot of pants this year, I still kept the colours bright in honour of the summer (and just because I love colour). Which one is your favourite? Ciao! Cao! Aleksandra <3 Follow me via Bloglovin, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or Google

Short Shorts & Cropped Tops

Heels Brian Atwood, shorts Abercrombie & Fitch, T-shirt Zara, earrings Amrita Singh Let me start of by bragging that I only brought 3 pairs of shoes and flip flops with me to my 7 day vacation in Mexico. This is definitely a record for me. And though I had planned 8 outfits to wear and photograph while there, I only took pictures of 4. There were so many gorgeous locations to shoot some amazing pictures, but I could not get myself away from the beach in time to shoot the pictures. And with Mexico being closer to the Equator, sun goes down pretty early (already by 6:30) so I had to choose: stay on the beach and enjoy every minute of my 7 days there, or take pictures for the blog. Well, I guess you know the answer. Even this outfit was not intended to be shot. It’s a (minimal) outfit I wore to go out that night (it gets really hot dancing) but we shot a few pictures on the balcony, as you can see. I was not sure if I was going to use them for the blog, but then decided: why no...

Checks, Stripes & Neon: Print Mixing

Skirt Forever 21 ( similar check skirt here & here ), shirt Zara, clutch Spring, heels Brian Atwood. sunglasses unknown, necklace gift, bracelet Tiffany & Co, watch DKNY  I don’t like to start off a post with apologies but I do have to do it today. I have been slacking a bit last couple of weeks and not posting Monday – Thursday as I usually do. Summer has been extremely busy for me so far, and it does not look like it’s going to slow down at least until end of July. This Friday is also my birthday, so I have been preparing for guests. I’m having some friends over and I do have to say I’m not the most organized person when it comes to hosting. Hope you like today’s outfit. I loved mixing prints in black and white, but could not end the look in a monochrome tone, and had to add a pop of colour. That’s just me. I'm also wearing a gorgeous  necklace  with my initial which I received as an early gift from one of my dearest friends and a beautiful person. Have ...

All About Royal Blue Summer Dress

Dress Forever21, heels Brian Atwood, clucth Aldo (old), sunglasses Joe Fesh I had taken a little mini vacation from the blog on Monday and Tuesday, so I figured I would catch up with one more outfit post today. That's reason one; and reason two is that I got this gorgeous royal blue dress over the weekend, and I could not wait long to shot it off. Does it not remind you of the Carrie (as in SATC movie 2) dress she wore in one of the first scenes? You know, the one where she bugs Mr Big for putting his feet up on the couch? Well, I loved that dress and this one reminds me of it. I had found a similar style in couple of other stores in the past, but the material and the fit were not right. This one falls so softly off the body and yet it still has structure. Pulling off this type of loose top with larger chest, without looking like a balloon is a bit tricky. But material, as I said, falls perfectly. I chose to keep the dress the centre of attention but did choose some contrast...

Bright Neon Stilettos & Cobalt Blue Top For a Night Out

Jeans Zara, top unknown Winners, heel Brian Atwood, clutch Aldo, necklace Rachel Roy, bracelet Forever 21 Today's outfit I actually wore this past weekend. I went out for drinks and decided to finally pull out these hot bright yellow Brian Atwood sandals. I got the on sale for only $99. They are so cute and will look especially good when I get little tanned. Ant lets not forget the leather that they are made of. It is extremely soft and molds around your foot and ankle. I am a jeans and blouse type of a girl so there is no surprise this was my going out for drinks outfit. Comfortable with a little bit of personality. Plus, nights are still very cool so I did not dare wear a skirt on bare legs. But I really wanted to wear these babies so jeans were the perfect answer to this little struggle :). Wishing you a beautiful and sunny weekend! Ciao! Danasnji outfit sam ustvari nosila prosli vikend za izlazak u grad. Napokon sam docekala da izvucem iz ormra ove prelepe jarko zu...
