I have been taking it easy this holiday season, so this new post is a little over due. Actually, if you walked into my house now, you would still think it’s Christmas. My tree is still up. Well, I have a few reasons for it. First, Orthodox Christamas and New Year which I celebrate are on the 7 th and 14 th of January, so I have a good reason to keep the tree up longer. But also, I just love the warmth it gives to the home, so I choose to keep it longer for that reason too. I am not however going to mention that I hate undoing the tree and storing away decorations, cause you may think I am lazy. God forbid! It’s September 1 st already and we’re getting so close to the end of summer. Luckily the weather doesn’t agree with this so I am more than happy. How has your summer been?  I personally haven’t gotten away anywhere just yet, but hopefully soon. This year in general has not been developing according to my plans much, so why should my summer?! One thing that I enjoy doing, especially in the summer, is having mini vacations in the city, or  stay-cations . Usually people tend to do this on the weekends, but my weekends are usually overbooked as it is, so I often pick a random day in the week off work to do this. I love exploring the city on my bike. You have seen me wear this dress few months ago in this SashaDoll blog post . Instead of going with opaque tights again, I opted for over the knee socks instead. And I love the look of sandals over thick tights or socks, so I chose these very comfy heels I got in The Bay on sale. You can of course go for an ankle bootie or closed toe shoes as well. And of course, I don't go anywhere without my leather jacket in the spring or fall. Ciao! I have been planning this post for a while now but never really came around to writing and posting it. Maybe because I have been busy, or maybe because the time never seemed right. Today’s post is about the spring trends but due to the horrible winter like weather, the timing just did not seem appropriate. But, I figure it should probably be done now before the summer arrives, right? As with any season, there are a lot of different trends presented on worldwide runways but of course they don’t all suit all of us. Today, I picked a few that I personally will take part in and enjoy. Some of them are just a continuation of last years and some are brand new. Same as last year I am a huge fan of cropped tops. But I prefer to mix them with high wasted pants, pencil or lady like skirts. I am not too fond of cropped tops on lower rise jeans. Dress Sheinside , heels Gucci, clutch Chapters, coat Zara I'd like to say that I left the best for last this week, but I won't. Today's look is definitelly the most romantic. I love all of my outfits this week. Each one is different. But there is something about this dress for me. The vintage feel, the print, the material, and oh, so much more! It gives me the feel of a Russian princess. I may be wrong but that's just how I feel. I look at this dress like a piece of art and don't feel like I need to add anything else to it, therefore I wore no jewellery today. I added a romantic braid to work with the romanticism of the dress. Make up again is very clean but a classic red lip and red clutch give it an element of modern. What do you think of this dress?
