When winter white was presented on all the runways last spring, as the trend to look for in F/W 2013, were you excited? I certainly was. That is until the winter really came, along with the cold, as well as its dirty and wet streets. Only then do you start to realize white can be pretty hard to pull off. Few years ago I bought a gorgeous white coat but after the first winter I got rid of it because white gets dirty very easily, especially in the winter. It felt like I had to dry clean it every 2 weeks to keep it crisp white. And that can get pretty costly. I swore never to buy one again. Then I came across this beautiful warm jacket on sale at Esprit for $60 and had to buy it. Jackets are easier to care for. You can just throw it into a washer and you're done. So today, I am showing off my version of winter white trend, easily wearable for us regular folks in really cold climates. You can replace the high heel ankle boots for any other pair of boots you wear in this cold, be it Uggs, Sorels, or any other kind. Would you wear this outfit this winter? Ciao!
Kada je prosle godine predstavljen trend belog za jesen/simu 2013, da li ste se vi obradovali? Ja definitivno jesa. To jeste dok prava zima nije ustvari pristigla, zajednom sa ledenim temperaturama, kao i mokrim i prljavim ulicama. Tek onda covek pocinje da shvata da belo i nije tako prakticno za zimu. Pre nekoliko godina sam bila kupila beli kaput koji sam naprosto obozavala. Ali posto se prljao jako brzo, previse para sam potrosila na hemijsko ciscenje, cini mi se svake dve sedmice. Cim je zima prosla, kaputa sam se resila i zaklela se da ga vise nikada necu kupiti. Ali onda sam naletela na ovu jaknu u Esprit na snizenju za $60 i morala da je kupim. Jakne su inace mnogo lakse za odrzavanje jer ih vi mozete oprati u masini i problem resen. Danas moj outift je belo ali namenjeno za nas obicne ljude koji zivimo u hladnim klimama. Umesto stikli obucite vase zimske cizme, Ugg, Sorel ili bilo koje druge sto vas greju ove zime. Da li bi ste vi nosili belo ove zime?
