Canadian tuxedo is the name I know for head to toe denim outfit. Canadian tuxedo did not have a positive connotation to it, until recently at least, but this season in particular is very much in style. I am a fan of it myself. Granted that not all shades of denim go well together but overall, its hard to make a mistake. I would not necessary wear it in a casual style, with my body type I would look a lot like a boy, but with high heels and tons of jewelry, I'm all for it.
These cutoffs I made myself years ago. The longer I have them the better they fit. They were Guess jeans that I really didn't like very much, so instead of throwing them out, I put them to good use. Sometimes making a great cut off or distressed denim is hard. If you just cut it off with scissors it looks like you just cut them off with scissors. I found a great product called Denimolition, denim distressing gel. You can find it in many stores including Walmart in arts and crafts section. You just apply the gel where you want it to go (more or less, depending on the effect you want to get), apply some heat to it, wash and dry. In the process of drying the distressing takes place and the jeans really look as if they are naturally distressed. Very easy to use. What are your thoughts about denim on denim look? Ciao!
