Here’s another winter (cold spring) outfit I wanted to share with you. It was shot back in December while I was still in Belgrade, Serbia. It is still relevant now considering how cold March has been it seems everywhere. Well, at least North America and Europe.

It’s a monochromatic outfit I rocked for a day of exploring the city of Belgrade. I love this city. I lived here for several years before moving to Canada, and one of the must do things for me (or anyone visiting it) is to walk around fortress of Kalemegdan. It’s a peaceful and fun walk. It’s a go to place for locals, especially on weekends. You can stop by to visit the beautiful church of Saint Petka. I snapped a few pictures of it but my pictures don’t give it justice. It’s a small but beautiful church nestled in Kalemegdan fortress on the side facing Danube and Sava rivers. Just google the church and you will see how beautiful it is.
There are also several bars and patios around the fortress where you can take a break to have a coffee or a beer and hang with locals. Or just walk the tree lined walkways around the fortress and have a picnic in the park.
Though the fortress dates back to byzantine times, it is still very much alive today. It is an integral part of this city and its people.

For the rest of the day we visited museum of Nikola Tesla which is another must do when visiting Belgrade. If you’re not familiar with this genius man, make sure to read up on him and stop to visit the museum to pay respect to this great mind.

For late lunch (or early dinner) we headed to restaurant Villa Maska. To be honest, we didn’t go there for the food primarily (though the food is good), but rather so I can take a picture with this fun, photogenic, cool & cute grass covered car. The tourist in me just couldn’t pass up on this opportunity.

For this gloomy and somewhat cool December day, I donned on my new fur coat, patent H&M pants and (because 2 full suitcases of my own clothing just isn’t enough) my husband’s black hoodie.

Ciao!

The Very First Outfit Post

I took a few outfit pictures over the last few days, as I was running around my day and I wasn’t sure what would be the first one to post. I debated and as the days went by and weather changed (it seems every day it was a different season), I decided to go with the very first one I shot. This one I actually took last month at the High Park.   It was the last few days when you could see the cherry tree blossom so I did not want to miss out on it. I love spring only for this reason, trees and flowers blossoming. And the fact that it is a sign that the summer is just around the corner (I am still waiting for this corner though), but it is a sign.      A little nervous giggle              Sweater Costa Blanca, white tee H&M, rings, earrings, necklaces and leggings Forever 21, watch Michael Kors, bag Louis Vuitton, sneakers Urban Planet, sunglasses Ray Ban   ...

Have You Visited Positano & Amalfi Coast Yet?

Pants Zara, jacket Zara, sneakers Forever21, bag unknown (Winners), dress unknown ( similar ), ankle boots PrettyLittleThings There are still quite a few more outfits and cities I’ll be featuring on the blog from my last year’s trip to Italy, however today I’m sharing this post from the last location we visited: beautiful Positano. As we visited Italy in the fall, outfits left to share are more fall appropriate, so I will share them come September. I’ll be dealing with two little babies then so God knows how much time I will have to shoot new outfits. As I’m laying on my couch bored out of my mind counting down the days to my delivery next week (whooohoooo!!!) I’m experiencing such FOMO. Partially because I won’t be going on vacation this summer (though becoming a mom to two little girls is quite awesome!!) and partially because I’m reminiscing of my travels last year. Positano seems to still be one of the most photographed summer destinations so I’m sharing a few pictures f...

Black & White Striped Forever 21 Dress & Aldo Shoes

Shoes Aldo, bag Target, dress Forever 21, jacket Le Chateau, sunglasses ZeroUV, spike bracelets Aldo, silver bracelet Tiffany&Co, watch DKNY Hello lovelies. I hope everyone had a beautiful weekend. Hopefully, those of you who are moms got to be pampered and spoiled by your kids and partners. I hope you also showed your love to your moms and thanked them for everything they have done for you. We should be doing it every day, but it’s really nice to have a day dedicated to these amazing women. I know how much my mother means to me and she certainly deserves every day to be dedicated just to her. I’m sure all of you feel the same way about your mothers too. Even the sun came out to shine and make Mother’s day even more special. I made sure to go bare legged to welcome the warmth and the sun. Today’s outfit is a cute spring look, easy to pull off. Black and white stripes always make a statement and a little pop of colour just makes the outfit complete. I spent the day out mostly...

Would You Wear a Bathing Suit as a Top?

Skirt H&M, bathing suit/top unknown, sandals Le Chateau, bag vintage Value Village, hat bought in Athens From north of Greece and beautiful Khalkidhiki peninsula, we headed due south and reached this little town called Athens 😊 . Athens Greece is simply beautiful. No matter where you are in the city, Gods of Acropolis are looking over you. It is such an amazing feeling especially at night when the city is covered by darkness and Acropolis shines in its full light and grandeur. It’s a wonderful feeling to be walking down city streets and being pleasantly surprised by monuments from Ancient Greece as you turn the next corner. I started of my city walk from Monesteriaki neighbourhood and walked around all neighbourhoods surrounding it, from Plaka and Kolonaki to Anafiotika and Gazi. I especially loved Anafiotika. If you love hilly neighbourhoods, then you will love Anafiotika. At night, you can sit on the stairs of cafés and enjoy a cold beer or a cocktail with all the local...
