15 Reasons Why You Should Visit Lagos, Portugal (& How to Wear Pink)

Continuing with the theme of my travel to Portugal, today I share with you beautiful Lagos. This is another beautiful town in the Algarve region.  Town of Lagos boasts a historic centre, which is surrounded by the ancient Moorish walls and overlooks pretty harbour estuary. When we were visiting the first week of May, the town was hosting a medieval time market and day in Lagos. It was sort of as if being taken back in time. Everyone was 100% into their characters. It was quite a beautiful experience.

One of the main attractions however, Lagos is known for are its beaches and the most picturesque and breathtaking Ponta da Piedade.  Ponta da Piedade headland is located to the south of Lagos, and is a series of highly weathered cliffs that are lined with spectacular grottos, arches, sea caves. Please take a moment to enjoy the pictures. No special lens or photo shop required.
