Blogging or more
specifically, blog photography has completely become along-the-way-en-route-to-somewhere-or-something
kind of photography for me and my blog. This isn’t because I am less interested
in the blog or too tired to dedicate specific days and hours in the week to photograph
outfits I want to share here. It was actually more of a conscious decision. I
love everyday fashion. I love pushing that everyday fashion to become more
fun, more magazine or runway inspired than a typical everyday plain outfit, but
all this while still remaining comfortable for a real life. I want you to know
that everything I share on this blog is my real life outfit and not just styled for the blog.
I love playing dress
up, but I lead a real life, and real life is not always fun and games. We all
have errands to run, don’t we? One of those errands on Saturday mornings for me
is grocery shopping. I love spring when I can do that in the stores out on the
streets or in the market. This outfit was shot on one of those Saturdays. I met
up with a friend to do some produce shopping. Who would have thought vegetables
and fruits can make for an interesting outfit photoshoot location? Hehehe.
After this was done we made some time for a Saturday morning coffee and snack,
and a little girl-talk. My friend is such a trooper, she just says yes every
time I ask her to take a picture of me or some piece of my outfit. She has
referred to one of my laughs as a crazy laugh and asked me to give her one of
those for the pictures. I started laughing at her comment then asked her what
laugh was that? I guess she was referring to the laugh in the first picture
hehehehe. I guess you learn something new every day, and that day I learned I
have a crazy laugh. Who knew? J
Dress I wear here is
Pull & Bear, a European store. I bought it in Lisbon on my last trip for
$13. Sneakers I also bought in Lisbon for $17 in a random underground shop on
my way to subway, also in Lisbon. Gotta love those unexpected great buys! Chanel bag is from Sharyn Scott Consignment.
I had never seen this style of Chanel bag before, but it makes for such a
perfect casual bag and at a much more affordable price point. If you like it,
make sure to contact wonderful Sharyn from Sharyn Scott Consignment. She will
love to give you more details.
So next time you’re
going grocery shopping and you love your outfit, snap a picture or two and make
sure to share with me. I’d love to see how you style your grocery shopping
outfit?
Ciao!
