Sequence Dress for New Years Eve 2017

I’ve been debating whether to do a New Year’s outfit post or not. As I’m getting older I find that I am not getting as excited about the New Year Eve as I used. I used to plan months in advance what I would wear. No, I didn’t know where I would be going months in advace, but that had nothing to do with me picking the outfit. It is New Year Eve so being overdressed is not an issue. EVER!

This year in particular, the year end crept up so fast that that it caught me unprepared. Not that one of my friends didn’t start asking about our plans way back in October, but I kept ignoring her questions as I could just not wrap my head around it. Too many things were still on the go for 2016 that I had not time to prepare for the 2017.

So as I write these lines, I’m still figuring out where I will be going. Sometimes you end up having the most fun when you least plan it, so I’m not too worried about it. After all, I already have a dress. This beautiful sequence navy blue dress!!

I gotta admit that I’m not really a fan of sequence on me. Especially for New Years Eve. Probably because that is a staple for most girls. But I loved this one so much so it had to come home with me. It’s not fitted, it’s a beautiful navy blue colour and it has long sleeves. I will be wearing it with over the knee boots. It’s cold in Toronto and I will for sure end up spending some time outside at some point of the night (after all it takes a heck of a long time to catch a cab or an Uber on New Years), so a girl gotta be prepared.

I will be wearing this dress with my white sneakers and bare legs come spring. It such a fun piece and I already have so many plans for it. It will definitely not end up just hanging in my closet after a one time use. I am just not that kind of girl J.

Have You Visited Positano & Amalfi Coast Yet?

Would You Wear a Bathing Suit as a Top?

Athens Greece is simply beautiful. No matter where you are in the city, Gods of Acropolis are looking over you. It is such an amazing feeling especially at night when the city is covered by darkness and Acropolis shines in its full light and grandeur.
