We're Not In Kansas Anymore - Glitter Shoes

I don't know if I am happy to share this outfit with you today, or if I feel like crying. Before you write me off as a "crazy" blogger, here me out. This outfit was shot one beautiful, sunny, warm and lazy WINTER weekend day. It was a happy time, just couple of weeks ago. It was still winter, yet warm. It makes me happy thinking about it. Now today, as I am actually sharing this outfit with you, it's minus 4 outside, gloomy and the ground is covered with a few centimeters of snow. And it's SPRING! Do you understand why I am a little divided on my feelings today? hhahah Moving on now....

Today's outfit is centered around these fun sparkly shoes. I saw a similar pair few years ago, but could not recall where nor who the shoes were by. I came across these sparkly Pedro Garcia beauties online at Real Real. It's a luxury brand site for pre-owned items, but not all are worn. These oxfords were brand new, never worn and were for a tiny fraction of the price. They are made of supple leather and are beyond comfortable. I usually have issues with flat shoes because they cause blisters on my heels/back of my foot, but these are so soft and supple that they feel like air. With that, I wanted to be as comfortable as possible so I opted for slouchy boyfriend type white ripped jeans, a soft cotton H&M shirt and cropped jacket from Banana Republic (I have linked a similar one above).

PS. I'm not sure if it's just me, but in some of these photos I look even shorter then I am...don't you think? hehehe

The Very First Outfit Post

        I took a few outfit pictures over the last few days, as I was running around my day and I wasn’t sure what would be the first one to post. I debated and as the days went by and weather changed (it seems every day it was a different season), I decided to go with the very first one I shot. Would You Wear a Bathing Suit as a Top?

Athens Greece is simply beautiful. No matter where you are in the city, Gods of Acropolis are looking over you. It is such an amazing feeling especially at night when the city is covered by darkness and Acropolis shines in its full light and grandeur. It’s a wonderful feeling to be walking down city streets and being pleasantly surprised by monuments from Ancient Greece as you turn the next corner.
