Yesterday was a windy day in Toronto and I was worried how pictures would turn out. My hair was blowing in all directions at once as we were shooting. There were a few pretty funny pictures, but I chose not to include them in this post. Now...yesterday seems like a mild day compared to today. I had to push through the wind on my walk to the office this morning. It felt like an exercise, it was so hard. We'll see how today's shoot turns out. It will be a challenge, heheh. As for the outfit, a very basic jeans and blazer look, but distressed denim and bright orange blazer make it more fun. They are both from Zara and purchased just recently. I said I would try, but this outfit kind of came about unplanned. I went out for breakfast and coffee to one of our favourite places near our house. We had planned to eat and then take our dog out for a walk in Greektown. I didn't even have any makeup on. But the streets seemed very deserted (partly because it was early in the morning, partly because it was a crisp morning), so we decided to shoot a few pictures. Yes, I am wearing my new Gap 1969 jeans yet again this week. I tried to resist, but failed miserably. They are beyond comfortable. They appear mostly white in the pictures, but are actually somewhere between acid wash and white. I am however starting to realize that they are not necessarily the most photogenic pair I own. I guarantee they look so much better in person. I chose to go with all purple hued pieces for the rest of the outfit and add a bunch of rings to finish off the look. Not that I really needed a fashion trend to tell me to like this colour, but why not be on trend too :). I love that it also gives an illusion of lace and that the underskirt is not actually a skirt but shorts, so you can move more freely. It will be perfect for summer and to mix with pastels, but today I am styling it for the spring weather: my leopard print pumps and Le Chateau leather jacket. I know I have been wearing these leopard print pumps quite a lot since I bought them, but they just go with everything and always make a statement. How can one resist that? Ciao!
