So let me keep it short today. On Sunday I had a birthday party for two of my gorgeous God Daughters. One of them turned 1 so we had to dress up nicely to celebrate this big day. Though, her dress just beat us all J . I wore this maroon skater style dress I recently purchased for just $20 at Winners. I opted for nude sandals as I love to showcase the dress.  I have been looking for a maroon dress for a while, and loved this one so much. I also changed my hair back to completely brown over the weekend. I have not had it all one colour for over a year, but I do miss the ombre ends though. What do you think? Ciao! I got this beauty for my birthday, just last Friday. I have been like a child since. To be honest, I have not ridden a bike since I was a kid. My last time was just before 1992 before the war. Later, as a refugee I couldn't really afford one. After that I was too busy being a teenager or too busy driving a car, that I really didn't care for it much. The last two-three years however, I have wanted to have one. Especially where I live, it would be perfect to have it. Everything is close enough but not too close, so running errands on a bike would be easy. And oh yes, the bike is also very pretty, isn't it? I have a bigger head. I know it may sound funny. But even as a kid, I had a bigger head then my older and much taller sister. My grandma, who is a seamstress, used to make us clothes. One time she decided to also make us headbands to match our dresses. Well, when she measured us, she was surprised to find my head significantly bigger then my sisters. She found it funny. Me, not so much (at that time anyway hehehe). I also have trouble finding hats and headbands that fit even to this day. I have to buy a large, if they are divided by size. One size fits all, does not fit this head of mine. I had a similar hat to this one, few years ago. I love these for the summer. I got it from the men's department but it still did not fit properly. It's warm enough but not hot as we're all used to here. I love the summers to be hot but this cooler one is actually working out perfectly for me. I love layering clothes and sometimes in the summer I miss out on it. But this year, the weather is just perfect for it. You can still wear shorts and layer few shirts up top, as I'm doing today. Very busy, but good busy weekend. This left very little time to shoot a new outfit so I decided to picture my outfit I wore to the beach on Saturday. This is the reason I have no make up on. I believe this is my first photo shoot with no make up at all. I wore a white dress you have already seen couple of times on the blog in this 2013 outfit post as well as just recently in this outfit post . I have been slacking a bit last couple of weeks and not posting Monday – Thursday as I usually do. Summer has been extremely busy for me so far, and it does not look like it’s going to slow down at least until end of July. This Friday is also my birthday, so I have been preparing for guests. I’m having some friends over and I do have to say I’m not the most organized person when it comes to hosting. Hope you like today’s outfit. I loved mixing prints in black and white, but could not end the look in a monochrome tone, and had to add a pop of colour. That’s just me.
