Military Style pants, Louboutins & Stripes: Fall Outfit

Pants Zara, shirt Ardene, shoes Christian Louboutin, head scarf H&M, wrist scarf Forever 21, watch Michael Kors, earrings H&M, sunglasses Ray-Ban I have shot this outfit almost a month ago, but I only get to share it with you now. I wanted to share first all of the really summery looks first, while they were still applicable. These amazing pants are from Zara. They are a recent purchase and you may still be able to buy find them in a store. I love the mustard yellow / brownish colour with red stripes on the side. They have a military feel to them (if you ask my friend though, she will say I look like a jockey hahaha). Because I paired them with a colourful striped top, I opted to wear simple nude pumps. These are Louboutins but there are so many affordable options out there now. Red is a common element of this look and brings it all together. Red soles, red piping on the shirt, red stripes on the hand scarf and red stripes on the pants. Oh, as if that wasn’t enou...

African Print Summer Midi Dress

Ankle sandals Boohoo, dress unknown (market), bag Proenza Schouler Just when I thought I was done posting summer outfits, this one came about. On the first day of fall, I’m sharing with you my last summer outfit. It’s a dress I purchased at a market on my trip in New Orleans. It’s an African print (I’m not even going to pretend to know from which region specifically) and I absolutely loved the pattern and colours. It can be worn so many different ways, both as a dress and a skirt. I was heading out for dinner and just had to snap a few shots. I love how wide it is, sort of like a tent eheheh. Paired with my Boohoo ankle strap platform sandals and Proenza Schouler cross body bag worn as a clutch, it still looks put together and not overpowering. You may notice I have no make up. Yes, I have been really low maintenance this whole summer. I’ve only worn makeup when going out on the weekends. My skin has certainly appreciated it. I know I will be wearing makeup again in the wint...

Ankle Boots & Off the Shoulder White Dress

Ankle boots Express, dress unknown (old from Greece), chambray shirt H&M, earrings H&M, necklace unknown, ring Old Navy Summer will be over any day. Before it is, let me share probably one of the last summer outfits for this year. I was out with my sister for a loooong walk. We were walking around the city for full 5 hours and I needed to be comfortable. It was also a hot day so summer white dress seemed like an appropriate choice. We were walking along Queen street west and came across this gorgeous pink wall, which (but of course) called for a quick photo shoot. I was happy with my outfit too, so that didn't hurt either. The only reason I convinced my sister to take these pictures was because she also loved the wall. I complimented it well..or it complimented me well. Either way, pictures were taken and I was happy. Now I get to share them with you. You must have seen this dress several times on the blog. I bought it couple of years ago in Mykonos. It's a n...

East Coast Road Trip to Charleston, South Carolina - Pastel Blue Romper

Jumpsuit Forever 21, Shoes , scarf H&M, eye glasses & bracelet unknown I’m getting close to finishing all my posts on my road trip through east coast USA from this past June. Summer is getting to and end and so are my road trip posts. Last city we visited prior to heading home was Charleston, South Carolina. You will pardon my hair in this post hehehe. The weather was so hot and humid that there was no way I was going to win the fight against the humidity. First day there was a severe storm and we could not visit the city, so we extended our stay. The city is beautiful and full of character that there was no way I was just going to rush through it. I wanted to take the time and enjoy its beauty. Though geographically very close to Savannah, Georgia, the architecture is quite different. Just check out my post on Savannah here . Similar to Savannah, there are no sky scrapers or very tall buildings. It is filled with beautiful colourful houses and buildings. The cit...
