Casual Summer Look - Another Cropped Top

Shorts Abercrombie & Fitch, wedges Aldo, cropped top Stradivarius, braceets Alex&Ani, blue/gold ring Ebay, gold ring Forever 21, bag unknown, hat La Vie en Rose This is my last post from my trip to Mexico. Though the plan for the trip was to relax as much as possible and spend every day at the beach, I could not visit Cancun without visiting the gorgeous archeological sight Chichen Itza some couple of hours away from Cancun. It was the most important capital city of the Maya and still is the sacred center for them. I read and learned a lot about the Maya and Chichen Itza in University while learning Spanish, and could not miss the opportunity to see it with my own eyes. It is absolutely gorgeous and must be visited. You will learn some extremely interesting facts about this intriguing culture. We did not go with the prepackaged tourist groups. I don't like to be on other people's schedule and hate crowds, especially when I am hot. So instead, we rented a car and ...

High Waist Ethnic Print Shorts & Cropped Top

Shorts and cropped top Forever 21, wedges Aldo, sunglasses and bracelets unknown Day three of my outfits I wore on vacation. Did I mention it was really hot? With the sea water and the heat, my hair tends to go little crazy at times. Sometimes it gets so curly that the curls almost start resembling dreads. Other times it just gets crazy frizzy. The day these pictures were shot it was on the crazy frizzy side so I put it in a messy side braid. I don’t like to spend much time on my outfits and hair while on vacation. I don’t like to be fussy. So I just take what nature gave me, polish it up a bit and go with that. Outfits are also very simple but bright, usually. I also wear a few pieces of bright jewellery and I’m done.  Today I am sporting I guess you could say world traveller or ethnic print high waist shorts and a cropped top. Wedges are also a must for me when it comes to travelling to ocean front cities. What are your "must do's" when it comes to travelling? Ci...

Short Shorts & Cropped Tops

Heels Brian Atwood, shorts Abercrombie & Fitch, T-shirt Zara, earrings Amrita Singh Let me start of by bragging that I only brought 3 pairs of shoes and flip flops with me to my 7 day vacation in Mexico. This is definitely a record for me. And though I had planned 8 outfits to wear and photograph while there, I only took pictures of 4. There were so many gorgeous locations to shoot some amazing pictures, but I could not get myself away from the beach in time to shoot the pictures. And with Mexico being closer to the Equator, sun goes down pretty early (already by 6:30) so I had to choose: stay on the beach and enjoy every minute of my 7 days there, or take pictures for the blog. Well, I guess you know the answer. Even this outfit was not intended to be shot. It’s a (minimal) outfit I wore to go out that night (it gets really hot dancing) but we shot a few pictures on the balcony, as you can see. I was not sure if I was going to use them for the blog, but then decided: why no...

Can You Use Kimono As A Beach Cover Up - Yes!

Kimono Urban Behavior, wedges Aldo, belt Ardene, sunglasses unknown, bag unknown, bathing suit Victoria's Secret Hello my dears! I am back and recharged. Pardon my absence (12 day as it has been pointed out to me today by my dear friend Nada) but I am now fully charged and ready to resume. This week will be dedicated to my outfits worn on my vacation in the resort in Cancun, Mexico. This year I needed to do something more relaxing and all-inclusive resorts are perfect for that. Today’s outfit is sort of an outfit. I spent most of my days in this gorgeous kimono (while not on the beach of course) and used it as caftan or beach cover up. It came in handy and floral print and soft pastel blue colour are just perfect for the hot Mexican days. Just another way to style your kimono and get most out of your wardrobe. And I love how this gorgeous Victoria's Secret bathing suit details just add to this fun look. Ciao! Cao drage moje. Ponovo sam tu nakon 12 dana odsustva (kako...

Tank Top & Neon Midi Skirt - Style Inspo

Skirt Choies, top Bershka, heels Zara, belt vintage, bracelet Alex&Ani As I mentioned couple of days ago, I am posting another outfit to show you how I interpret outfits that inspire me. I kept this one very close to the original from Style Pantry blog, though I used a different style of skirt. I would love to have this gorgeous yellow number but one cannot (or should not) have everything. Where it the fun in that? I loved the combination of colours in this outfit and sure enough had similar ones in my closet. I wore instead a midi full skirt but stayed true to the colours that first caught my eye. I would also love to have this gorgeous hair...but some things are just impossible.  Let me know if you like these types of posts and I will try to do them more often.  And as you are reading these lines, I am somewhere on the beach in Mexico, enjoying the sun and the ocean. I will be back and in full swing by mid of next week. Until then, happy vacation to me! Ciao!...
