And while clearing it out we came across this skirt which she had never worn yet. It's small for her so she gave it to me. I could not have been more excited! I have an obsession with stripes (parallel ones only) and polka-dots, which I have already explained in my post here and continue to show it in these pictures as well (just check out my umbrella). It had started to rain a bit so I brought the umbrella with me, but after snapping couple of pictures it stopped. I loved this picture with the umbrella so I decided to keep it.  Back to the outfit. But today I felt like wearing all pastels. Maybe because the weather has been little weird so I wanted to bring in some softness and brightness in my day. Definitely not the hot summer I hoped for. Just look at the sky in some of the photos! I love the outcome of combining these soft colours together. When I first bought these overalls or dungarees, however you like to call them, I was not sure how much wear I would get out of them. But after playing with them for a bit, I realized it is quite a versatile piece. Depending what your style is, it can be made to look more grunge, more sexy, classic, sporty, and so on. I opted for a more sporty version. I paired them with this cropped top or bandeau for a hot summer day and to tone it down a bit, my All Star sneakers. I don't own many sneakers, I think only 3 pairs. These, a black pair with hidden heel and a pair of running/exercise sneakers. The rest are heels :).
