I’m getting close to finishing all my posts on my road trip through east coast USA from this past June. Summer is getting to and end and so are my road trip posts.
Last city we visited prior to heading home was Charleston, South Carolina. You will pardon my hair in this post hehehe. The weather was so hot and humid that there was no way I was going to win the fight against the humidity. First day there was a severe storm and we could not visit the city, so we extended our stay. The city is beautiful and full of character that there was no way I was just going to rush through it. I wanted to take the time and enjoy its beauty. Though geographically very close to Savannah, Georgia, the architecture is quite different. Just check out my post on Savannah here. Similar to Savannah, there are no sky scrapers or very tall buildings. It is filled with beautiful colourful houses and buildings.
The city has a long and not so pretty history. When you visit (which I highly recommend) make sure to read about it or at least take one of the many tours available here.
As for the outfit, it’s a beautiful light pastel blue romper I found just before leaving for my trip. In the heat of Georgia, nothing else seems fit. My hair is courtesy of humidity heheeh. Thanks for reading!
