Ankle sandals Boohoo, dress unknown (market), bag Proenza Schouler
Just when I thought I was done posting summer outfits, this one came about. On the first day of fall, I’m sharing with you my last summer outfit. It’s a dress I purchased at a market on my trip in New Orleans. It’s an African print (I’m not even going to pretend to know from which region specifically) and I absolutely loved the pattern and colours. It can be worn so many different ways, both as a dress and a skirt. I was heading out for dinner and just had to snap a few shots. I love how wide it is, sort of like a tent eheheh. Paired with my Boohoo ankle strap platform sandals and Proenza Schouler cross body bag worn as a clutch, it still looks put together and not overpowering.
You may notice I have no make up. Yes, I have been really low maintenance this whole summer. I’ve only worn makeup when going out on the weekends. My skin has certainly appreciated it. I know I will be wearing makeup again in the winter months (after all, with no sun, my ghostly white face kind of looks washed out), but for now, no makeup is working just fine. Hair on the other hand, requires some TLC and some colour. If only there were enough hours in a day to do everything…. :)
On a side note, lately, all of my outfits are shot in passing. I rarely bring my Canon camera any more. IPhone is just so much handier. Yes, you can tell the difference in the quality of pictures sometimes but not always. What do you guys think?
Happy first day of fall my dears!
