Rio

Rio, Doberman, man`s best friend

We’ve all said goodbye to the 2015. I love New Year celebration for many reasons, but mostly because this is a period of the year we all take the time to look at the year behind us. I would hope we all take that time to go over our successes and everything that we should be thankful for, but also to take time to think of how we can be a better person in the new year; not necessarily more successful, but better as humans. It is also a time to spend thinking of those whom we’ve lost. For me one of the hardest periods of this past year was a loss of my silly, loving and gorgeous dog Rio.

I just wanted to take a moment to share with you a post about him, and share a few pictures of us, taken over the last 10 amazing years. As hard as it is not having him in my life any more, I can’t be but thankful for every moment we did have together. He has made me happy every single day, been there for me through tough periods, made me smile countless times and, I would like to think, made me a better person. I won’t write too much as I don’t want this to become a sappy post, but just a post in memory of one of the most amazing beings I have had the privilege to share my life with. I love and miss him every day, but life does go on. And though I hate New Year resolutions, I hope all of us make at least this one: spend as much time as possible with your loved ones and with those who make your life better, because we never know how much time we have. And even if we are lucky to get a lot of time, when they are no longer there, it still doesn’t feel long enough. So Love, Laugh & share your life with those who matter the most!
Happy New Year!

LOVE

Lace SheIn Dress & Purple OTK Boots

Dress SheIn (size M), bag SheIn, boots Ebay These boots may be one of the best purchases I’ve made in a long time. I know that at first they may not appear like an item that you will wear much, but they go so perfectly with most dresses and skirts, but are also thin enough that you may wear then under pants. It’s such a perfect statement piece and it will make any outfit pop. I love the purple especially but I’m also looking to purchase a beige/tan pair, and pink and …. 😊 Even the material is not very sensitive to dirt which I thought it would be. This is an old outfit I wore in late spring this year but never got to post it on the blog, so I decided to do it today. I think this outfit would also be great for a New Years party. Why always go for sparkle on New Years? Instead, make a statement with hot boots and beautiful, feminine dress.
Ciao!

Have You Visited Positano & Amalfi Coast Yet?

Pants Zara, jacket Zara, sneakers Forever21, bag unknown (Winners), dress unknown (similar), ankle boots PrettyLittleThings

There are still quite a few more outfits and cities I’ll be featuring on the blog from my last year’s trip to Italy, however today I’m sharing this post from the last location we visited: beautiful Positano. As we visited Italy in the fall, outfits left to share are more fall appropriate, so I will share them come September. I’ll be dealing with two little babies then so God knows how much time I will have to shoot new outfits. As I’m laying on my couch bored out of my mind counting down the days to my delivery next week (whooohoooo!!!) I’m experiencing such FOMO. Partially because I won’t be going on vacation this summer (though becoming a mom to two little girls is quite awesome!!) and partially because I’m reminiscing of my travels last year. Positano seems to still be one of the most photographed summer destinations so I’m sharing a few pictures from my trav…

Bouclé Red Teddy Coat

OTK boots (similar), sweatshirt/dress H&M, coat Koton, handbag Zara (same bag Ebay & similar)
Hello darlings, here I am again after a 3 month absence. If you follow me on my Instagram account, you know I have a good excuse. I’m 4 months pregnant and just got over my first trimester. Those of you who have been pregnant know how tiring the first trimester can be. On top of that, I’m expecting twins, two girls!!!! So I guess I can say I was double tired hehehehe. I still owe you more outfits & posts from Italy and Serbia from last fall, but before I go back to that, let me share a few outfits which are more appropriate for the current winter/spring weather. I shot both this outfit and the one I will share with you in the next post during my first month of pregnancy before the exhaustion kicked in, but I never got to post them on the blog. Today is all about this teddy red coat. The brand is Koton and it was only $80. It is really soft and cozy and I’ve gotten a lot of complim…

Two Outfits in Milan

1st outfit: dress H&M, boots Ebay, jacket Zara 2nd outfit: jeans Topshop, boots Primadonna Collection, shirt Bershka, coat unknown
If you have been following me for some time, you know that last year I took 6 months off and one of the things I did during that time is take a road trip through Italy. First stop was Venice and you can read more about it in this post as well as here. Third stop on the trip (yes I know I skipped the second, but we’ll return to it another day) was Milan. Since I was a little girl, Milan was a place I really wanted to visit. I had such high expectations; partially due to it being one of fashion capitals, partially due to the beautiful Duomo of Milano, and because it was on my bucket list since I was a kid. I don’t quite know why, it just always was. Well, needless to say Duomo di Milano is absolutely stunning and a must see when visiting this big city. Walking the roof of the cathedral will leave you breathless. Just imagining how many man hours were spen…
