Cropped wide legged pants and top Zara, belt Heldin Belt, bag Mango, slides Winners, earrings Mango, bracelets and sunglasses unknown

Hello lovelies! I’m back from an impromptu and much needed vacation in Portugal. Check out my SashaDoll Closet Instagram page for more pictures from the trip. If you haven’t been following me there, you missed out on some fun Instagram stories from the trip.

Just before I left I received my new Heldin Belt and of course had to bring it with me on my trip. As it was a short trip I needed to keep my packing to a minimum. I ended up bringing just a pair of jeans (in which I also travelled), these wide legged cropped pants from Zara, 3 tops and a dress. That was it! These 6 items plus 4 pairs of shoes and a leather jacket created multiple outfits which I will be sharing with you over the next few weeks. It may give you some ideas for your next trip. Nothing worse than lugging around a large luggage especially if you are like me and don’t stay in one place but rather travel between cities. One thing I hadn't planned for was putting on weight so quickly, but food in Portugal was so yummy that I couldn't help myself. So pardon the little belly bulges hahaha.

I had planned out today’s outfit around the belt and from there packed the rest of the outfits and items to bring with me. Doesn’t the belt add an interesting element to an otherwise classic outfit? It gives it some edge. I love how it also accentuates the waist. A cool part about it is that the belt across the chest can be removed for when you just need a simple black belt. They also come in several colours. Make sure to visit Heldin Belt to check them out. This brand is meant to empower women through fashion, as Heldin is German for the female form of Hero, or Heroine.
The belt would also go beautifully over a dress, whether a slim or a frilly style. It adds sex appeal to a fitted dress or an element of rock and roll or an element of edge to a more feminine style dress.

Let me know your thoughts on the outfit.

Ciao!

Lace SheIn Dress & Purple OTK Boots

Dress SheIn (size M), bag SheIn, boots Ebay These boots may be one of the best purchases I’ve made in a long time. I know that at first they may not appear like an item that you will wear much, but they go so perfectly with most dresses and skirts, but are also thin enough that you may wear then under pants. It’s such a perfect statement piece and it will make any outfit pop. I love the purple especially but I’m also looking to purchase a beige/tan pair, and pink and …. 😊 Even the material is not very sensitive to dirt which I thought it would be. This is an old outfit I wore in late spring this year but never got to post it on the blog, so I decided to do it today. I think this outfit would also be great for a New Years party. Why always go for sparkle on New Years? Instead, make a statement with hot boots and beautiful, feminine dress.

Have You Visited Positano & Amalfi Coast Yet?

Pants Zara, jacket Zara, sneakers Forever21, bag unknown (Winners), dress unknown (similar), ankle boots PrettyLittleThings

There are still quite a few more outfits and cities I’ll be featuring on the blog from my last year’s trip to Italy, however today I’m sharing this post from the last location we visited: beautiful Positano. As we visited Italy in the fall, outfits left to share are more fall appropriate, so I will share them come September. I’ll be dealing with two little babies then so God knows how much time I will have to shoot new outfits. As I’m laying on my couch bored out of my mind counting down the days to my delivery next week (whooohoooo!!!) I’m experiencing such FOMO. Partially because I won’t be going on vacation this summer (though becoming a mom to two little girls is quite awesome!!) and partially because I’m reminiscing of my travels last year. Positano seems to still be one of the most photographed summer destinations so I’m sharing a few pictures from my trav…

Bouclé Red Teddy Coat

OTK boots (similar), sweatshirt/dress H&M, coat Koton, handbag Zara (same bag Ebay & similar)
Hello darlings, here I am again after a 3 month absence. If you follow me on my Instagram account, you know I have a good excuse. I’m 4 months pregnant and just got over my first trimester. Those of you who have been pregnant know how tiring the first trimester can be. On top of that, I’m expecting twins, two girls!!!! So I guess I can say I was double tired hehehehe. I still owe you more outfits & posts from Italy and Serbia from last fall, but before I go back to that, let me share a few outfits which are more appropriate for the current winter/spring weather. I shot both this outfit and the one I will share with you in the next post during my first month of pregnancy before the exhaustion kicked in, but I never got to post them on the blog. Today is all about this teddy red coat. The brand is Koton and it was only $80. It is really soft and cozy and I’ve gotten a lot of complim…

Two Outfits in Milan

1st outfit: dress H&M, boots Ebay, jacket Zara 2nd outfit: jeans Topshop, boots Primadonna Collection, shirt Bershka, coat unknown
If you have been following me for some time, you know that last year I took 6 months off and one of the things I did during that time is take a road trip through Italy. First stop was Venice and you can read more about it in this post as well as here. Third stop on the trip (yes I know I skipped the second, but we’ll return to it another day) was Milan. Since I was a little girl, Milan was a place I really wanted to visit. I had such high expectations; partially due to it being one of fashion capitals, partially due to the beautiful Duomo of Milano, and because it was on my bucket list since I was a kid. I don’t quite know why, it just always was. Well, needless to say Duomo di Milano is absolutely stunning and a must see when visiting this big city. Walking the roof of the cathedral will leave you breathless. Just imagining how many man hours were spen…
