All About Royal Blue Summer Dress

Dress Forever21, heels Brian Atwood, clucth Aldo (old), sunglasses Joe Fesh

I had taken a little mini vacation from the blog on Monday and Tuesday, so I figured I would catch up with one more outfit post today. That's reason one; and reason two is that I got this gorgeous royal blue dress over the weekend, and I could not wait long to shot it off. Does it not remind you of the Carrie (as in SATC movie 2) dress she wore in one of the first scenes? You know, the one where she bugs Mr Big for putting his feet up on the couch? Well, I loved that dress and this one reminds me of it. I had found a similar style in couple of other stores in the past, but the material and the fit were not right. This one falls so softly off the body and yet it still has structure. Pulling off this type of loose top with larger chest, without looking like a balloon is a bit tricky. But material, as I said, falls perfectly. I chose to keep the dress the centre of attention but did choose some contrasting accessories (shoes and clutch), to pop against this gorgeous blue canvas. If you are thinking about getting this dress on line, you should go a size smaller. I am usually size S but this dress is size XS. What do you think? Ciao!
Cao!

Have You Visited Positano & Amalfi Coast Yet?

Pants Zara, jacket Zara, sneakers Forever21, bag unknown (Winners), dress unknown ( similar ), ankle boots PrettyLittleThings There are still quite a few more outfits and cities I’ll be featuring on the blog from my last year’s trip to Italy, however today I’m sharing this post from the last location we visited: beautiful Positano. As we visited Italy in the fall, outfits left to share are more fall appropriate, so I will share them come September. I’ll be dealing with two little babies then so God knows how much time I will have to shoot new outfits. As I’m laying on my couch bored out of my mind counting down the days to my delivery next week (whooohoooo!!!) I’m experiencing such FOMO. Partially because I won’t be going on vacation this summer (though becoming a mom to two little girls is quite awesome!!) and partially because I’m reminiscing of my travels last year. Positano seems to still be one of the most photographed summer destinations so I’m sharing a few pictures f

Would You Wear a Bathing Suit as a Top?

Skirt H&M, bathing suit/top unknown, sandals Le Chateau, bag vintage Value Village, hat bought in Athens From north of Greece and beautiful Khalkidhiki peninsula, we headed due south and reached this little town called Athens 😊 . Athens Greece is simply beautiful. No matter where you are in the city, Gods of Acropolis are looking over you. It is such an amazing feeling especially at night when the city is covered by darkness and Acropolis shines in its full light and grandeur. It’s a wonderful feeling to be walking down city streets and being pleasantly surprised by monuments from Ancient Greece as you turn the next corner. I started of my city walk from Monesteriaki neighbourhood and walked around all neighbourhoods surrounding it, from Plaka and Kolonaki to Anafiotika and Gazi. I especially loved Anafiotika. If you love hilly neighbourhoods, then you will love Anafiotika. At night, you can sit on the stairs of cafés and enjoy a cold beer or a cocktail with all the local

Another Striped Dress, Denim Jacket & Ankle Boots

Dress & jacket H&M, boots Dolce Vita, bag Ardene, scarf Cejon (Winners), sunglasses Ray-Ban, bracelets H&M, ring Ebay Yesterday was a bit of a good and a bit of a bad day. My husband had hurt his knee so I took a day off work to take him to a clinic to check it out. It ended up being quick so we decided to spend the rest of the day in Queen West area of Toronto, and do a little picnic in a park, Trinity Bellwoods Park to be exact. It was a gorgeous and relaxing day. We lunged around, ate some lunch, had a coffee and got some sun. I wore another striped dress but this one is a bit more casual. I paired it with my cute ankle boots (little bit of country hehe) and a must have spring staple, a denim jacket. How are you enjoying the spring? Ciao!

Two Outfits in Milan

1st outfit: dress H&M, boots Ebay, jacket Zara 2nd outfit: jeans Topshop, boots Primadonna Collection, shirt Bershka, coat unknown If you have been following me for some time, you know that last year I took 6 months off and one of the things I did during that time is take a road trip through Italy. First stop was Venice and you can read more about it in this post as well as here. Third stop on the trip (yes I know I skipped the second, but we’ll return to it another day) was Milan. Since I was a little girl, Milan was a place I really wanted to visit. I had such high expectations; partially due to it being one of fashion capitals, partially due to the beautiful Duomo of Milano, and because it was on my bucket list since I was a kid. I don’t quite know why, it just always was. Well, needless to say Duomo di Milano is absolutely stunning and a must see when visiting this big city. Walking the roof of the cathedral will leave you breathless. Just imagining how many man ho
