Leopard Statement Coat & Faux Fur

Coat Asos, bag Chanel, faux fur stole Topshop, jeans Zara, ankle boots Alexander Wang Do you love leopard print? Don't you find that, if worn in a wrong shade or material, it can look very, very cheap? But when it's a great, rich shade and quality material, then it can look like a million bucks, right?   I love leopard print and strongly support the notion that it's a classic. It just pops and, even if worn in small doses, immediately makes the outfit stand out. I bought this leopard print coat back in October but I don't believe I ever posted it before on the blog. Or I might be wrong. But regardless, it's such a statement piece worthy of multiple shares.   I wore this look couple of weekends ago. It was a cold day hence the reason I'm all bundled up. I love the mix of leopard print and faux fur burgundy stole. How fun right?   Booties are Alexandre Wang which I got for an amazing price of $100 at a consignment shop. They were brand new! What a stea...

Wearing Blush Tones in Honour of Women's International Day Post

Dress Forever 21, ankle boots Zara, socks Asos, bag Winners, jacket old Danier I’m not quite sure how to define this outfit. I’m also not sure what style I was going for. I started with the dress and wanted to wear more subdued colours with the blush dress. Next item I added were Zara ankle boots which I have been sporting non-stop lately (just check out my Instagram page). The whole getup seemed a little too sexy for a day outing so I added the quirky socks and large round sunglasses. They both made the outfit more fun rather than sexy. A burgundy bag with a guitar strap compliments the blush and rust colours perfectly; and final touch (it is still cold out after all) is this old shearling (like) lined leather jacket. I’d love to hear your comments and thoughts. And before I leave you to enjoy the pictures, I wanted to take a moment and wish all of you ladies a happy Woman's International Day. May you all, as well as the men in your lives, treat you with respect, lo...

Leopard Print Coat & OTK Boots in Salem

Coat River Island from Asos, boots Aldo, jeans Zara, sweater Forever 21, White shirt Zara, cross-body bag Proenza Schouler I was debating whether to share this post or not, just simply due to quality of the pictures, but after almost two months of deliberation, I thought they should be shared. This is from my trip to Boston. Our last day we spent in Salem. Yes Salem, the town know for the witch burnings or a witch town.  Our first stop in town was the house of the 7 gables, also made known by Nathaniel Hawthorne in his book by the same name. This is one of the American classic books, and if you have not read it yet, you should. The first picture was taken in front of Nathaniel Hawthorne’s birth home, which was moved next to the house of the seven gables and made into a museum. It was definitely fun to walk both houses and see how people of those times lived. Very low ceilings (for heating purposes of course) is something that stuck with me, and I’m quite a short per...

Minimalist Outfit & Tone on Tone Dressing

Sweater Oak&Fort, T-shirt H&M, jeans H&M, heels Asos (similar Asos ), bag H&S Handbags, scarf Aldo Kicking off this week with a minimalist, tone on tone outfit. I was out for a walk last week so I had to snap a few photos. It was an absolutely amazing and warm fall day. Fall is definitely one of the prettiest seasons in Canada. This year I was not expecting to have a long and beautiful fall (if one is to judge by the past summer), but it has been gorgeous. How amazing are the colours of the trees behind me?. I cannot say that it comes naturally to me to wear an outfit with matching colours, but this trend is huge for this season, so from time to time, I embark on that wagon. Today was one of those days. Usually, I love to mismatch the colours but mix those which complement each other. What are your thoughts? Ciao! Zapocinjemo sedmicu sa minimalistickim outfitom u istim tonovima. Prosle sedmice sam bila u setnji I morala da uslikam ovaj outfit sa ovako prelepo...

Summer Outfits in Review

As fall (rather quickly) sneaks in, I wanted to take one more look at this summer's outfits and share with you (again) some of my favourites. As I was going through them, it was easy to tell that it was a much cooler summer compared to the last one. Granted, I may have worn a lot of pants this year, I still kept the colours bright in honour of the summer (and just because I love colour). Which one is your favourite? Ciao! Cao! Aleksandra <3 Follow me via Bloglovin, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or Google

How To Dress Up Jumpsuit for A Formal Event

Jumpsuit H&M (similar  from Asos here , here & here ), belt Asos , heels Gucci, clutch Este Lauder, earrings Casia Verde & scarf H&M You may already know about my love for jumpsuits but just in case you don’t, here is another example of how amazing they are. They are a great alternative to a dress for more formal events, such as weddings.  I wore this one on Saturday to a friend’s wedding and was very comfortable the whole night. This black one is from H&M. It has a higher waist which fits me perfectly. Just in case this one doesn’t suit you, here are a few more examples from Asos ( 1 , 2 & 3 ). Dress them up for a special occasion, top off with a blazer for a nice dinner out or cover with a shirt or a sweater to wear to work. For a more casual look, you can wear a white T-shirt underneath with a pair of Converse. I also received a lot of questions about how I tie these head wraps so I decided to do a little tutorial video to show you how. I wil...
