Lefkada 2: What to Wear & What Beaches to visit in Lefkada

Shorts Levi's, slides H&M, top unknown (similar Shein ), bag Proenza Schouler, hat unknown Time to share with you another outfit this week. It’s my second outfit from Lefkada (the rest were bathing suits only heheeh). I’ve fallen so far behind on posting outfits from my August, yes August trip to Greece. Actually, by the time we reached Lefkada it was already September. The second outfit is another simple shorts and a shirt combo. As it was already September it wasn’t as starching hot as sit it in the summer months. I could opt to wear long sleeves but the rest of the outfit had to stay light. Straw hat to shield from the sun is always not only useful but also a great accent to any outfit. As you know I really love colour especially in summer months, I chose one of my favourite bags, this Proenza Schouler classic. Last time I told you a bit about Lefkada island and town, but I didn’t mention any beaches. There are so many to explore but I will share with you my top...

Manolo Blahnik & a Suit & Tie Outfit

Jeans Zara, coat Zara, blazer Zara, shirt H&M, tie vintage, slingback shoes Manolo Blahnik Do any of you (and I’m talking to the ladies here) ever catch yourself staring at a guy rocking a perfectly tailored suit and a fun tie, and just wish you could rock one too. Well, last week I decided to do just that. I have a thing for fun ties and wish I could wear them more often. This is a tie I found for $2 in a vintage store and decided to buy it. I really wanted it to pop, so I chose to wear it with an all-black suit. Now, this isn’t actually a suit but rather skinny black jeans and a black blazer, but it did the trick. I especially love how the tie picked up on the red detailing of this Zara coat I have been wearing almost non-stop since I purchased it. As the outfit was more “masculine” I wanted to wear very girly shoes. Out came my new-old Manolo Blahnik slingbacks. What amazing feather and sequence detailing on these satin emerald green beauties. If you’re curious to...

Vintage Midi Skirt & Brian Atwood

Shoes Brain Atwood, skirt vintage, turtleneck H&M, jacket Zara, fur stole vintage, bag Ebay, fur bag accessory Winners I am a vintage shopping junkie. I love searching for hidden treasures, designer or not. I love looking for great deals. It’s the thrill of the hunt, the uncertainty whether or not you will find something, that keeps me going. I have found some absolutely amazing pieces for a fraction of the price, which are now some of my favourite pieces I own. The fashion recycles, and I love finding a vintage piece that is still very relevant today. A classic you may call it. One of my favourite vintage finds is this skirt I bought not too long ago. I love everything about it: the fit, the colour, the length, the print, the slit in the front…just everything. The material is beautiful wool lined underneath, so as not to be prickly to the skin.  It’s such a classic piece but with a pair of funky stilettos or cool sneakers, and a leather jacket, it is as modern as can be...

Pastel Outfit for Spring - How to Style a Pink Coat

Boots & coat vintage store, skirt H&M (old, similar linked), sweater JCrew, bag Rebecca Minkoff, sunnies Aldo (similar linked) Just a quick hello from me today. I will not be writing too much (though I’ve said that before and half a page later, I am still writing heheh). Today, on this gloomy, rainy, gray day, I wanted to share a pretty bright outfit. Yeah, boots are gray but a nice shade of gray, happy not sad J . I had a brunch with the ladies on Saturday for one of my best friends’ birthday so I opted for a feminine and soft outfit. It happened to be a beautiful and sunny day so it worked out perfectly. Skirt is old from H&M, boots and coat are from a consignment store and coat is old Zara.  Recycling clothes is the best, isn’t it? Ciao! Sasha<3
