When A Life Throws You a Curveball (Fight it off with a Metallic Biker Jacket)

Jacket Forever 21, jeans Joe Fresh, lilac stilettos Heels, cashmere sweater Lord&Taylor from TheBay, cross-body bag Rebecca Minkoff This post was to start completely differently. While I was writing it I received some bad news about one of my best friend’s mom. It automatically made what I was about to write completely meaningless in relation to the life as a whole. Fashion and clothing are considered to be shallow. They have no deep meaning.  From time to time I get comments about wasting my time with fashion and my blog. So I chose not to post anything today. But as I contemplate about life (your 30s seem to be the time for that), I realize life is what you make of it. Life is about being happy and doing what makes you happy, so that you can make those around you happy. If you don’t fuel yourself, you can’t fuel those around you. Energy is transferrable and I chose that my energy be a positive one. I know that fashion, this blog, talking to people, inspiring and ...

Getting the Most out of Your Wardrobe

Sweater Zara, dress French Connection, jacket Ardene, bag Rebecca Minkoff, boots Franko Sarto (Winners), fur stole vintage When I shot this look a week ago, I thought it would be the last time I would wear this fur stole and warm jacket. Forward to a week later, and the spring has brought with it winter weather. Not only do I need this fur stole to keep me warm, but skirts are out of the question. Well this is not really a skirt under this sweaterdress. It's actually a dress from French Connection I wore in this post, which I tied with a slim belt & folded under to shorten the length. I wanted a pleated skirt but i would wear them under longer top or sweater anyway, so why not use what I already had in my closet instead. Though it was a warm day, nilons & over the knee socks were needed for some added warmth.  Ciao! Sasha <3 J

Pastel Outfit for Spring - How to Style a Pink Coat

Boots & coat vintage store, skirt H&M (old, similar linked), sweater JCrew, bag Rebecca Minkoff, sunnies Aldo (similar linked) Just a quick hello from me today. I will not be writing too much (though I’ve said that before and half a page later, I am still writing heheh). Today, on this gloomy, rainy, gray day, I wanted to share a pretty bright outfit. Yeah, boots are gray but a nice shade of gray, happy not sad J . I had a brunch with the ladies on Saturday for one of my best friends’ birthday so I opted for a feminine and soft outfit. It happened to be a beautiful and sunny day so it worked out perfectly. Skirt is old from H&M, boots and coat are from a consignment store and coat is old Zara.  Recycling clothes is the best, isn’t it? Ciao! Sasha<3

Pastels & Oversized Dressing

Boots Aldo (similar), dress Banana Republic, sweater/dress Zara, bag Rebecca Minkoff ( similar ), sunglasses Aldo I seem to be very much into gray colour this winter. I always loved it but for some reason I have been wearing it a lot more than usual. I guess it’s a great alternative to more common neutral colours such as black and tan/beige. Today I opted for oversized trend. Though it may not be the best choice for my body shape and my height, I still enjoy dressing this way, especially in the winter. Partially because I love the look, partially because I love feeling cozy when it’s cold outside, but also because I put on a few pounds in my waist area in the winter months (all those holidays and yummy foods, mmmm)   so I don’t like wearing anything too tight on a daily basis. It is also not the easiest outfit to photograph. However, things to remember when dressing in oversized trend: your accessories have to be structured and you should opt for a more monochromatic ...

Who Loves Fur Stoles - I Love Fur Stoles

Jeans J Brand, blouse Zara, leather jacket Zara, sunglasses Aldo, faux fur stole Topshop, crossbody bag Rebecca Minkoff We're saying good bye to another year in a few days. I can't say that I am sad about it. This year has been full of challenges and bad news for me. I've lost some important people as well as my  loving dog. But that is all part of life, and the  show must go on. But before the year is over, I promised to share another outfit with you. While most other bloggers are sharing outfits for New Year, I am sharing just another daily look. I have to say, I love more everyday fashion rather then dressing up. Daily fashion seems more fun to me.  As the weather continues to be more fitting to the fall rather then winter, I keep wearing my leather jacket as much as possible. When it's a bit cooler, I layer few long and short layers; and when it's not very cool, jacket and shirt will do. I chose to dress up the look with this gorgeous faux fur stole fro...
