Leopard Print Coat & OTK Boots in Salem

Coat River Island from Asos, boots Aldo, jeans Zara, sweater Forever 21, White shirt Zara, cross-body bag Proenza Schouler

I was debating whether to share this post or not, just simply due to quality of the pictures, but after almost two months of deliberation, I thought they should be shared. This is from my trip to Boston. Our last day we spent in Salem. Yes Salem, the town know for the witch burnings or a witch town.

Our first stop in town was the house of the 7 gables, also made known by Nathaniel Hawthorne in his book by the same name. This is one of the American classic books, and if you have not read it yet, you should. The first picture was taken in front of Nathaniel Hawthorne’s birth home, which was moved next to the house of the seven gables and made into a museum. It was definitely fun to walk both houses and see how people of those times lived. Very low ceilings (for heating purposes of course) is something that stuck with me, and I’m quite a short person.

After visiting the two houses, we went to visit the town. We took one of the historic tours. You have the option to take historic, witch or haunted tours, but we really wanted to learn about the history of Salem and witch burnings, so we opted for the history tour. There are no pictures of the town as it got really dark and cold really fast that day. Such a difference from previous sunny beautiful fall days. We were not necessarily best dressed for this cold so we froze our bums off that evening, but it was so worth it. You must visit Salem if you are coming to Boston and must take the historic tour. It’s scary what we as humans are capable of and even scarier to know that though what happened there 4 centuries ago is history, we can still see the same human nature today.

As for the outfit it was an improve of numerous layers to keep me warm. Again pictures are not the best but I needed to share them regardless. The coat is River Island from Asos. I have been looking for quite some time now for a leopard print coat of the right shade, material, shape and of course, price. This one made the cut. It's not necessarily good for cold weather, but it's a perfect fall coat. Who else considers leopard print a classic?

Ciao!

The Very First Outfit Post

I took a few outfit pictures over the last few days, as I was running around my day and I wasn’t sure what would be the first one to post. I debated and as the days went by and weather changed (it seems every day it was a different season), I decided to go with the very first one I shot. This one I actually took last month at the High Park.   It was the last few days when you could see the cherry tree blossom so I did not want to miss out on it. I love spring only for this reason, trees and flowers blossoming. And the fact that it is a sign that the summer is just around the corner (I am still waiting for this corner though), but it is a sign.      A little nervous giggle              Sweater Costa Blanca, white tee H&M, rings, earrings, necklaces and leggings Forever 21, watch Michael Kors, bag Louis Vuitton, sneakers Urban Planet, sunglasses Ray Ban   This is a very casual outfit and very odd for me in the sense that

Have You Visited Positano & Amalfi Coast Yet?

Pants Zara, jacket Zara, sneakers Forever21, bag unknown (Winners), dress unknown ( similar ), ankle boots PrettyLittleThings There are still quite a few more outfits and cities I’ll be featuring on the blog from my last year’s trip to Italy, however today I’m sharing this post from the last location we visited: beautiful Positano. As we visited Italy in the fall, outfits left to share are more fall appropriate, so I will share them come September. I’ll be dealing with two little babies then so God knows how much time I will have to shoot new outfits. As I’m laying on my couch bored out of my mind counting down the days to my delivery next week (whooohoooo!!!) I’m experiencing such FOMO. Partially because I won’t be going on vacation this summer (though becoming a mom to two little girls is quite awesome!!) and partially because I’m reminiscing of my travels last year. Positano seems to still be one of the most photographed summer destinations so I’m sharing a few pictures f

Sightseeing Montreal In Hot Pink Sneakers & Ripped Jeans

Jeans & jacket Zara, sneakers Nike, shirt H&M, bag Steve Madden, sunglasses unknown, belt Danier (men's section), chain ring Forever 21, midi ring H&M, forefinger gold rings gifts    Day one in Montreal was the cocktail party and then walking the streets of old Montreal at night and testing out different patios and bars. Day two in Montreal, was again walking the beautiful streets of old Montreal and testing out patios, but now in daylight, hehehe. Oh and lets not forget, blog picture taking. I forget how beautiful this city is and am reminded every time I come back. Then, I wonder why I don't come back more often. It is gorgeous, vibrant and people are extremely warm. It has such a European flare, which I often miss, and this is a quick way for me to get that fix once in a while, without having to fly over an ocean. These pictures were snapped around St Denis street as well as around Catherdral Notre-Dame Basilica of Montréal. I was comfortable in my new N

Black & White Striped Forever 21 Dress & Aldo Shoes

Shoes Aldo, bag Target, dress Forever 21, jacket Le Chateau, sunglasses ZeroUV, spike bracelets Aldo, silver bracelet Tiffany&Co, watch DKNY Hello lovelies. I hope everyone had a beautiful weekend. Hopefully, those of you who are moms got to be pampered and spoiled by your kids and partners. I hope you also showed your love to your moms and thanked them for everything they have done for you. We should be doing it every day, but it’s really nice to have a day dedicated to these amazing women. I know how much my mother means to me and she certainly deserves every day to be dedicated just to her. I’m sure all of you feel the same way about your mothers too. Even the sun came out to shine and make Mother’s day even more special. I made sure to go bare legged to welcome the warmth and the sun. Today’s outfit is a cute spring look, easy to pull off. Black and white stripes always make a statement and a little pop of colour just makes the outfit complete. I spent the day out mostly
