I just spent 4 amazing days in Montreal and Mont Tremblant, Quebec province. It was my mini vacation of sorts. The first day I had a business coctail party to attend and had packed accordingly. Well, we arrived to Montreal just in time for me to get ready and maybe take a little break from travelling. When I arrived I realized that I had left my dress hanging in my bedroom and had nothing to wear. Literally. I packed minimal outfits and they all involved ripped jeans and shorts. I don't think those would necessarily be appropriate for a business cocktail party.I had about 45 minutes to buy something. Now I didn't want to spend much money as I had other plans and I didn't want to buy something I would get no use out of. No matter how little money you spend, if you never wear it again, it will be a waste. I found a few stores but nothing to my liking in them. I finally got to scramble this outfit. I found this skirt and a blouse in two separate stores, all for under $60. And I will definitely be wearing both many times to come. With my obstacle out of the way, I was ready to enjoy my trip. Upravo sam se vratila sa mini odmora koji sam provela u Montrealu i Mont Tremblant planini, u Kvebek provinciji. Prvi dan sam samo imala poslovnu koktel zabavu i s tim u planu, ponela haljinu koja odgovara za ovu priliku. Kada smo stigli u Montreal, imala sam samo malo vremena da se odmorim i da se spremim za zabavu. Medjutim cim smo stigli shvatila sam da mi je haljina ostala kuci. Nisam imala absolutno nista za obuci. Svi ostali outfiti sto sam spakovala su bili sacinjeni od iscepanih farmerki ili sorca. Nista od toga nije bas prilagodjeno za ovu priliku hehe. I u 45 minuta sam morala nesto da nadjem u blizini mog hotela. Nisam zelela da bacim mnogo para na novi outfit jer sam imala neke druge planove, a u isto vreme nisam zelela ni da kupim nesto sto vise nikada necu obuci. Bez obzira koliko jeftino to bilo, za mene je to bacanje para. U poslednjem momentu sam uspela da nadjem ovu suknju i bluzu u dve razlicite prodavnice, a sve za manje od $60. I tako s mojim problemom resenim, mogla sam da se prepustim uzivanju u ovom prelepom gradu. A o tome i neki drugi dan. Cao!

The Very First Outfit Post

I took a few outfit pictures over the last few days, as I was running around my day and I wasn’t sure what would be the first one to post. I debated and as the days went by and weather changed (it seems every day it was a different season), I decided to go with the very first one I shot.
