Harem Pants and Turban

Pants and earrings Forever 21, top Zara, heels Gucci, clutch old gift, sunglasses Aldo, turban/headband Ardene, large silver ring and bracelets Aldo, black/silver large ring old unknown, spike ring Ebay, watch Michael Kors   How do you dress up but still feel like you are in your pyjamas? For me it's harem pants. The comfort of your pyjamas in pants that will not get you any weird looks from people on the street. Well, unless you come across my dad, who makes sure to say every time when he sees me in this type of a pant, that I forgot to change from my p-jays when I got up in the morning :-). I don't really like to pair them with flats because they then look too casual for my liking. I always wear them with heels or boots (as you have seen me wear here ). I love mixing prints too so I chose to wear this stripped t-shirt and leopard print clutch. As for the turban inspired hair band I usually wear it when I am having a bad hair day, and this summer there ...

Feathers

Shorts Guess DYI, top Rumors (Winners), heels Urban Plan (seen here ), sunglasses Ray Ban, belt Stradivarius (seen here ), top bangle (gift from Philippines), coral and ruquois bangle (made per order-local craftman), bottom two plastic bangles Forever 21, bracelets street buy Madrid, bag unknown (Winners) An end to a very busy weekend for me and a start of a yet busier week. In 5 days I am off on a vacation. I am going back to Serbia to visit family and friends (and hopefully relax too). And (lucky me) I will be heading to Greece for a few days as well, to catch some more sun on the beach. And as excited as I am about all of that, I am a bit anxious because I have not even started packing. I have not even booked my hotel for Greece. But as you may already know from my posts from the period just before my trip to Spain, this is pretty normal for me. I seem to do all of my vacation planning last minute. I’m sure it will work out as always. This weekend and had another...

Week 10 In Review

Another week of summer gone! Wishing you all a fun weekend. Here is week 10 outfit recap. Ciao!   Aleksandra <3

Chanel Inspired Jacket

Shorts and necklace Target, peplum top H&M, heels Zara, clutch/bag unknow Winners, sunglasses and bracelets Aldo, watch Michael Kors, jacket and rings Forever 21 The minute the weather is warm again I am back in shorts, and in particular denim shorts. If you have been following my blog you will know that it is my favourite and most comfortable piece of clothing for the summer. Just check the posts for this week. This is a second post with denim shorts this week alone. I love shorts because they give you the freedom of movement and they show off your legs. I love jeans so in the summer this replaces jeans for me. You can make them sporty or girly, dress them up or down. It's simply a very versatile piece of clothing.  Here I went for a more girly look and paired it with my beautiful Zara heels and this peplum top you have seen before on the blog. As Canada's evening can get cool, I topped the outfit off with a light Chanel inspired jacket/blazer. Pile on some jewelr...

Boots In The Summer?

Boots Aldo, sunglasses Aldo, dress H&M old, jacket Miss Sixty, handbag H&S Handbags, watch Michael Kors, bracelet Joe Fresh, rings Forever 21     The weather in Toronto is finally feeling like summer again. So it’s back to mini dresses again too J . I went out for a dinner tonight with hubby. It has been a busy few weeks so we have not had any alone time and tonight was the perfect time for it. Weather was kind enough too. We went for a stroll and dinner in Greektown, nothing too fancy. So I chose something somewhat girly and somewhat casual. I bought these boots on the weekend. I have been looking for a pair in this style for a long, long time now, but they all seem to make my foot appear a mile long. Maybe because I am used to wearing heels and the foot looking from atop looks smaller then when in the flats. Whatever the reason I could not commit to buying them before now. This pair does not make me feel as if I am wearing skis, so I was ecstatic ...

Canadian Tuxedo

Shorts Guess DIY, shirt  and belt   H&M, bracelets Forever 21, black/gold bracelet Joe Fresh, watch Michael Kors, clutch Aldo last year, heels Heels.com, sunglasses Aldo  Canadian tuxedo is the name I know for head to toe denim outfit. Canadian tuxedo did not have a positive connotation to it, until recently at least, but this season in particular is very much in style. I am a fan of it myself. Granted that not all shades of denim go well together but overall, its hard to make a mistake. I would not necessary wear it in a casual style, with my body type I would look a lot like a boy, but with high heels and tons of jewelry, I'm all for it.  These cutoffs I made myself years ago. The longer I have them the better they fit. They were Guess jeans that I really didn't like very much, so instead of throwing them out, I put them to good use. Sometimes making a great cut off or distressed denim is hard. If you just cut it off with scissors it looks like you j...
