Running Out Of Time

Blog post up! Check! One less thing on my to do list. I am leaving on my trip in 3 days and I have not even picked out outfits yet or started packing. I don’t like to travel heavy, especially because I like to shop when I am away and I need room in my luggage for the return trip. But mostly because I just don’t like to carry too many things with me. I prefer to preplan what to wear, plan to use same pieces of clothing in more than one outfit. I much prefer to enjoy every second enjoying the city then spending time putting things together. This task was on my to do list to finish today, but it might have to wait till tomorrow. I am so disorganized this time that believe it or not, I only booked the hotel today! But I got the one I wanted J . Check, check!   This H&M dress, is the most comfortable dress for the summer for me. And only $15. I also have it in black and army green ( here ). I wear it to the beach, running around city, going out...

Summer Uniform

Yet another late evening post. I really have a very good excuse for it. As I mentioned in one of the previous posts, I am getting ready for my trip to Spain. There is usually a lot to do before any trip, but it feels like Murphy ’s Law has really kicked in this time. I am getting swamped from all angels, both personally and professionally. But I am not complaining, just finding excuses for my late posts J . After all, how irrational would I be to complain about little errands when I am going to a wonderful Spain? 4 more days and counting !!! And with my trip in mind, I have been a really good girl and have stayed away from shopping, both online and in store. I figure, I will do quite a bit of that in Madrid. And for some reason, it always feels like clothes, shoes, etc are always better somewhere else but where you live. I have a list of few things that I really want to get, but we will see how successful I am. A friend of mine told me once she loves shop...

And A New Star Is Born

As promised on Friday in my post or on the Facebook page, I am introducing to you a new star of this blog, Asos belt you see in the pictures. I assure you it will appear on this blog in many, many post to come. I received this amazing belt from Asos (just under $22 with free shipping) on Thursday night and absolutely had to wear it the next day, no question about it (I also wore it out Saturday night with another outfit). I had a business lunch on Friday and this was my version of a business outfit. Little bit of bright colour to welcome the nice weather, nude pumps and of course, the amazing belt to give it some edge and very minimal jewellery, as the outfit was loud enough on its own. I had a toned down black purse but as I am organizing pictures for this post, I realize that I did not take any pictures with it. Oh well this will do this time J . Speaking of this belt, I saw it quite some time ago somewhere, can’t quite recall where and fo...

Happy Weekend All!

Let me leave you with a very quick post tonight and a very casual outfit for this weekend. Just something easy and comfortable to run errands in, go for brunch, sit out on a patio and relax, or whatever else you feel like doing.  I hope this weekend you won't need a sweater though. By the looks of the weather today, you won't. But then again you never know these days. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and enjoy it with your loved ones. Even if you have a busy or working weekend, steal a few moments to sit down, relax, have a coffee, enjoy the weather and maybe check out some of the previous posts you missed :). I will do the same. I will be sure to show of my new favourite accessory in the next post. For those of you who wonder what that is, you can check it out on Facebook . Follow my page there as well as on Instagram or via Bloglovin (link to the right). Ciao!   Aleksandra <3         ...

Get Your Nerd On!

Today was one hectic day for me. I am preparing for an unexpected trip to Spain (I am sacrificing myself to go with my husband on his work trip J ) and there are too many things to finish before I go. And the fact that it rained almost the whole day doesn’t make running these errands any easier. I also finally decided to get back into a healthier lifestyle and signed up for an outdoor boot camp 2/week for 8 weeks. I got a great deal for $29 on Living Social website. I think this is the best way to try out something you haven’t done before. Some people have said to me that it’s not fair to only go to these classes because of the low price, because we are just abusing the deal. Well I think quite the opposite. If it were not for this type of a deal I would never had tried yoga. And now that I have, I love it…I just have to get my butt off the couch and sign up for a class. It’s just a hard time finding a good one in my area. So a friend of mine and I sig...

A Peplum Top...Need I Say More?

As I promised yesterday, today’s post will end with a short video. This is a first video I ever edited, if I can even call it that. It’s not professionally looking but just my personal video I made to better explain what I did with yesterday’s blazer. You will notice I was quite nervous talking. Hopefully over time I will get little more accustomed to it. It’s weird because I never get nervous talking in front of people or talking to strangers, but put a camera in my face and I feel the jitters coming on. I survived though J . If you hear some weird sounds throughout, don’t adjust your volume, it’s just my dog running around the house and onto the balcony, irritated by a squirrel on the tree opposite the building J . About today’s outfit. Well before I say anything about the outfit, let me just say that (I’m sure most of you are on board with this) I really need to see some more sun, and real soon. These pasty white legs of mine don’t sell this outfit as wel...
